Booked a car for my family from Hilton head island to the Savannah airport on a Monday morning. When I called, the woman was a little sassy(not sure who it was), but made my reservation for me, however did not follow up with an email that I requested. I then called back the next day to again request an email confirmation, and spoke to Judy who was very friendly and sent me an email right away. I had to call again to change the credit card information, as mine got stolen, and Judy was very friendly again. My family said the driver was great and that the trip and service were enjoyable and they would use the service again for sure.

Family vacations for us always have an adventure edge to them, whether intentional or not. Mostly not. My Mom, Dad and I were driving down to Hilton Head, SC to meet my wife and daughter for a week at a great resort that my folks had used before. My parents and I made an hour outside of Hilton Head and POOF! The alternator on my folks truck went out.(This was the diagnosis by the great AAA technician that was sent out). We were towed to a local auto garage and I proceeded to rent us a car and figure out how to get the weeks worth of stuff in my folks truck to Hilton Head, since we weren’t leaving it behind in middle of nowhere, South Carolina. I called Camelot. First number from my Iphone. A warm and inviting voice said he would give me a call back in two minutes. And two minutes later, a woman named Judy talked to me and I explained the situation to her and she gave me a fair price to get us to the airport(for the rental) and my folks to the condo rental. She showed up on time, was friendly and helped us with bags and other carry on items. I found out, after she dropped me off for the airport car rental, that she helped my folks to the room with their bags. Wait, what??? Yes, she did. Judy. Who was by the way THEOWNER. I can’t say enough about Judy’s friendly professionalism or her fair and prompt service pricing for the ride. These fine folks know what service and quality mean.

The positive is very prompt pick up and friendly driver. After that it goes down hill. DVD player did not work, no aux cable to hookup iphone/ipod to stereo, a/c can’t be controlled from the back(has to either be full blast or not on at all), driver wasn’t really familiar with the technology in the car so wasn’t able to help when we asked questions.
