Not only was my order wrong, but the wait was too long. When I went in there, there was hardly eight people in the restaurant, but I still had to wait 20 minutes for a waiter to come to my table. I only saw him three times after that: when he brought my food, when he had to take my food back, and when he brought the check with my correct order. The food was flavorless, at best, and the sweet tea was comparable to dishwater. The service, while friendly enough, was lackluster.(The manager was sitting with her friends a few tables over and not doing anything.) I will never eat here again.

Wow. After spending well over a thousand dollars at this establishment, my phone number has now been blocked by this restaurant because I called to complain for yet another time about my order not being correct. They also hung up on me two times AND told me that they would«contact {their} lawyer» if I tried to convince people not to go there. Apparently they have an extremely unprofessional staff(and management) that is unable to cater to simple requests(such as «no cheese» or «no sour cream»). If you are one of the many who suffer from allergic reactions to dairy, cannot tolerate it, or just simply want an order done«as ordered,» then this is not the place for you. Also, I used to order fajitas from this establishment. Three out of only FIVE orders of fajitas they neglected to give me tortillas(which is essential AND expected) for my fajitas. GOSOMEWHEREELSE when in Bluefield if you crave Mexican food. El Patio is right next door, and at least they can get an order cooked and packaged correctly. This place is ridiculous! DON’T WASTEYOURTIME!

Authentic fried ice cream. A lot of well prepared food for the price. Prompt courteous service. Server and staff who spoke English as a second language. As good as South Texas!

We were stopping through coming home from vacation, and the food was pretty good. My whole family thought the chips were delicious; they were fresh and warm. I got the vegetarian platter(chalupa, enchilada, and beans), and it was very good. The portions were large, but that is how it is at most Mexican restaurants. Our waiter was very attentive, and he was also very friendly. The only ‘complaint’ was that the building was quite cold inside.

The food I had was really fresh. I had a taco salad for $ 5.00. It had your standard lettuce and tomato, bur had a great quac and the meat was amazing.

Hola, Being Mexican and just moving from San Diego, Californina… I can tell you that I have cooked, tasted and experienced various types of Mexican food from different regions of Mexico. I have only been twice to La Fiesta and have been very pleased with the dishes I ordered. Carnitas plate and the cheese enchiladas. The food was very well seasoned and fresh. I am sure that I will be returning to La Fiesta to try out their delicious looking margaritas. The service was great, server had a pleasant conversation with me and was very polite!

The best Mexican food around, large portions and great bar. I get something different each visit and I’ve never been disappointed. Fish tacos, chimichangas, fajitas are all good. The chips and salsa are good but my family always requests the question dip also. Black beans can be substituted for any dish with refried beans.

Two stars because I’m on vacation and in a good mood and Iove Mexican food. There was definitely nothing spectacular about this place. Especially the server, I don’t remember his name. Service was pretty slow, waited longer than usual for a menu and the server was not very familiar with it either. I asked a question about sides and be read me what the menu said. Gracias, señor, I just did that. So the good. Taste was par. I ordered the gemelos burritos — chicken and beef. Chicken was better than the beef. This dish does not come with any sides, sadly. I believe there was an El Patio across the street. I would give that a try next time.

The best mexican around! You can’t beat the prices or the food. We are never disappointed and we go almost every week. The seperate rooms ate great when busy or when you have large groups so that everyone is not on top of each other. We love ths salsa and it depends on what time of day you go because it isn’t always the same heat. Sometimes its nice and mild, other times your mouth will be on fire. The nachos are always great to order whether they are plain jane or fajita. If you ars close by and hungry dont hesitate to try their food.

Not the worst diarrhea I’ve ever had, but bad enough. Also, went on a holiday and the staff’s demeanor was less than festive.

Pretty bad. Salsa, OK. Chips, OK. Enchilada was bland. Refried beans tasteless. Chicken fajita salad… overgreased. Service, fair. Prices good.

Has the curse of the octagon building been broken?! For anyone who lives in Bluefield VA, El Patio is the primary restaurant for Mexican food. Campestre is excellent, but often the drive to Princeton ruled it out in my book. When La Fiesta boldly opened across the street from El Patio, tongues started flapping… but I had already moved. Today was my chance to experience La Fiesta after a year and a half away from Bluefield. The décor is less colorful than Patio(obviously) but for the most part your atmosphere and service will be the same, so let’s get down to the food. My dad introduced me to his«usual», Pollo Loco: a massive plate filled to the brim with grilled chicken, onion, zucchini, and squash all served over rice. The menu says it’s smothered with their famous cheese sauce, but I didn’t see it until I got down to the rice. What covered the chicken was more of a complex marinade that married the flavors of the vegetables nicely. And I had never previously considered zucchini and squash to be part of your typical Mexican cuisine. It was surprisingly good, although a huge portion. Good one, Dad! I personally decided to compare La Fiesta to its rival by the dish that almost everyone overlooks: Tortilla Soup. My theory is, if you infuse flavor in your Tortilla Soup, you undoubtedly put flavor in everything you make. If your $ 3.50-$ 4.99 soup at the bottom of your menu(placed there almost as an afterthought) tastes like it could cure any ailment you’ve ever had, you know you’re in capable hands. El Patio’s soup is great, mind you, but this was different. It had all the same ingredients(rice, chicken, avocado, tortillas and cheese on top) just in different ratios. Whereas half of the Patio’s soup is pure rice, Fiesta gave you more chunks of real chicken instead. Maybe the bowl was even a little bigger? I adored the hint of cilantro, I was happy to see corn in it, and I could just drink that broth from a thermos. «Slightly different» is the best way to describe Fiesta. I’m not saying everything on Fiesta’s menu will be better than its Patio component, but you may get a close second or discover a new favorite dish, if anything. My mom had the enchiladas and my brother had the chicken nachos. While I didn’t sample theirs, I’d take those particular dishes from the Patio over Fiesta, just going from memory. Patio’s chicken nachos are supreme, after all. I know for the soup at least, I could go either way depending on how I’m feeling… or which side of the street I’m on.
