This is where I got BS degree. It is small school providing a great education to people all over southern West Virginia and southwestern Virginia. The prices are affordable and many students are non-​traditional. They offer many great programs, from engineering, nursing, teaching. business and many more. I had some interesting professors and really valued my time here. I feel fortunate to have had this school in my hometown so I could get my degree at a reasonable price.

Bluefield State College isn’t the largest college by any means. However if you would like to stay around your hometowna and receive a great education than I highly recommend it. I always pictured myself going to WVU after graduating high school, and I do regret not going, but in the long run I guess it’s kinda hard to leave home. I’m very excited about graduation and moving on to grad school. Overall Bluefield State is an excellent choice if you want to stay around the two Virginias.
