I went here all the time & absolutely loved it(the atmosphere & the service, Helen to be specific)! After one bad experience I WILLNOT be back. I showed the nail tech a picture of how I wanted my nails & needless to say it looks nothing like the picture. I went back the next day to have it re-done and was told that I would have to pay AGAIN!!! Instead of them simply fixing my nails they’ve lost a loyal customer!!! Fix the problem for free & lose $ 23 or lose a religious customer & hundreds of dollars in the future. Guess they chose to lose a customer. I WILLNOT be back!!!

This was the worst experience I had at a nail salon. I got there at 7:50. They close at 9. The guy tried to tell me they had a big group coming in and they didn’t have anyone available for me but a lady told me to pick out a color. I was getting a manicure and pedicure so 2 people were working on me at the same time. The 2 women started arguing and one woman stopped working on me. A couple mins later the woman working on me got up to go yell at the other woman again. Then she told me I should have came earlier, it’s better. And the«big group» never came. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and her work was nowhere close. Then tried to charge me $ 60. I had to go home and fix my pedicure. Will never go back!

I had an amazing pedicure by a sweet girl. She put three coats on my toes with cute gold dots. Adorable! But then, I needed to get a backfill in my gel nails and I asked for shellac. I got Gina. I pray to God nobody gets this lady. She apparently is the boss of everyone in the store and she is the change tiller. She interrupted my fill and polish about 14 times exchanging money with her colleagues. By this time I’ve been in the store for 1 ½ hours. She doesn’t listen to the customer– when I asked her to cut it down she took her nail filer and shaved it down. When I told her those were not short enough she said«they need to be long.» With the plans to go home and shave them down, I asked for the rose pattern on my nails that I’ve seen on Pinterest, she told me those were«stickers» Which is very interesting because the rose design is all over Pinterest, with tutorials showing how to do it… Don’t argue with her because you’re not right. I paid $ 59 for a full and shellac polish. Be prepared, because the price is never what you expect, it seems to change depending on her mood. I didn’t get lotion or oil cuticle care but Clive been at that store for 2.5 hours I wasn’t about to ask!!! Oh, by the way, my pedicure, after 1.5 hours was not dry and they smudged in my shoes. I will never be back. She doesn’t listen to the customer, is gruff and doesn’t listen to what the customer wants. Just don’t get her!!! P

Great Service! We were in from another state(CA…the land of nail salons) and we’re thrilled with the service and attention to detail. I wish that this nail salon was in CA!!! Both my husband & I got manicures. In a word, Fantastic!!!

Just tried this place after several other(cheaper) places recommended by friends after moving here in August. I was most impressed by their service and attention to detail. Steven and Helen were amazing and nice. They put extra effort into what they do. I think this is the place. May I add they are also super clean. Worth the extra money. Don’t buy into the cheap places.

I have to admit, that my 2 daughters and I had been a customer of Chic Nails since they opened, and would have given it 4 stars for the location, and the newness and honestly the work was good. The mean woman that works there… I think she is actually the owner or part owner because there is no way someone with her personality could work there if they didn’t own it. My daughters and I would joke about the mean woman, but we would still go there, UNTIL… I went there one day and I got the mean woman. She instantly said«you have fungus, you have fungus»…ummm okay #1 do we have to scream it across the salon, and #2, YOUR salon is the ONLY place I have been to in forever, so I must have gotten it there. She continued talking about fungus the entire time I was getting my pedicure(by her)… she was so nice to provide me with some fungus medicine, and then CHARGEDME!!! I questioned her about this, and her husband as I was checking out(I think it’s her husband maybe not) but he seems to be an owner too? He brushed me off. So thank you Chic Nails for giving me a fungus and then charging me for the medicine to get rid of it. I will not be going back there, nor will my daughters, and anyone else that asks me about Chic Nails.

I went to Chic Nails today after walking out of another nail place close by because of it being dirty. I was on the hunt for a new nail salon since moving to this area recently. What a great place! This IS my new nail salon! There was no wait for a technician which was great on a holiday weekend. The place is super clean and everyone was quite friendly. There was a nice vibe going on.

I have been searching for a clean salon that doesn’t RUSH through a pedicure. My mom recommended this place — I guess I’m somewhat picky but I was more than satisfied. The foot and leg massage lasted what seemed like forever, and I walked out with my pink/white acrylic nails looking the best they have looked ever! I’m usually leaving a nail salon feeling so disappointed and I could not be happier with the service I received from Kim and Gina on my visit to Chic Nails. It’s a little bit of a drive for me but totally worth it and I will be going back every time!

I was really surprised by the service, or lack thereof, that my friend and I received here especially after reading the reviews on Unilocal and on Google. I wanted to try them out because they are in a much more convenient location than my current salon and they advertised a 20% off coupon for new customers on their site(and the place looks really nice). So I thought, hey, why not give them a try? In short, I was extremely disappointed. I will not return and will certainly not recommend. It was definitely not a spa experience, as advertised in their name. Here are a few of the observations from my visit that actually caused me to get up out of the chair, put my shoes on, and leave after an hour and fifteen minutes. Mind you, this was before they got all of my gel polish removed from my feet and they had not even begun the pedi. I had already declined the mani I was planning to get, simply for times sake. 1. The main problem I noticed is that they were understaffed, causing the staff to be hurried and frantic, and somewhat rude. Definitely not the calming, spa experience one might expect when paying $ 50-$ 60+ for a pedi. 2. Because of the mismanagement and understaffing, they were servicing walk-in’s prior to people, like myself, who had made appointments. Forgivable, but certainly not great customer-focus or fantastic time management. 3. My friend was pulled from the pedi chair into a mani chair where the lady proceeded to complete her gel pedi from the floor. Yes, I said floor. I have never seen this done anywhere and I feel it cannot be sanitary working from the floor. 4. They had trouble removing my existing gel polish, which isn’t uncommon. The guys solution was to put rubber gloves over the acetone soaked cotton… on my feet. Again, not something you expect in a spa experience… rubber gloves… on your feet? This also has never happened to me anywhere else and it felt, and looked, ridiculous. 5. On top of that, they tried using the electronic filer on my toenails which nicked my skin in more than one place. This felt extra great when they put an acetone soaked cotton ball on that now exposed skin. Major ouch! Again, not relaxing and hasn’t ever happened to me anywhere else. They didn’t seem to be too compassionate to my request to please not use the electronic filer any further. 6. My friend also paid for the ‘extra’ foot massage, which she described more as rubbing lotion on her feet for a couple of minutes. That cost $ 10, to which her point was, she could have rubbed lotion on her own feet for $ 0. 7. Even after all of this we remained, but the coup de grace was when my friend finished prior to me and reported that they would not honor the 20% off coupon for new customers from their site. Their explanation was that their advertising company had not taken it down and therefore they were a) not responsible and b) not honoring it. As a customer who tried them out specifically after looking at their site and noticing the coupon, that was it for me. My friend had already shelled out $ 65 for this shameful experience and to give her a hard time about the advertisement that is clearly on their website was unacceptable in my opinion. This shop is clearly not customer or experience focused. There is no spa experience, the staff was rude and their techniques unprofessional and finally, they did not honor a coupon that was posted on their site. I will certainly be grateful to return to my current salon, even with the farther distance, for a more relaxing, hygienic, professional experience that I had taken for granted up until now. Please use your own best judgement when going here, hopefully they will get their act together and improve the experience for their customers going forward.

Loved the Gellish mani and spa pedi I got here. My niece and I walked in with maybe a 5 minute wait on a Saturday. Super comfortable and clean environment. It was a little pricey, but definitely got a great result for it. Will come back!

What a great surprise! I had a coupon and decided to give it a try. The salon is in a great location. It’s very tastefully decorated inside. Not your normal«tacky» nail salon look. I was offered water or soda. All the staff seemed friendly and spoke English very well. It was really clean and my technician really took her time. Check out their website for coupons!
