The property has been redone and the lobby is very nice now. The rooms have been redone but kind of «on the cheap»(gaps, messy caulking, etc). The staff is nice, except I am a Choice Privilege member, paid full price and booked directly through them… and despite the hotel only being half full, they gave me a room on the only corner of the hotel with no view. So annoying. I had unpacked before I realized. For the fit and energetic, you can walk to town but it is a steep walk back.

This was a very nice, clean and comfortable place to stay. We were in the area doing some house hunting and had our dogs along. They were able to accept us with our pets and we had a wonderful stay. I would recommend this hotel to any of our friend and family.

If I could give zero stars I would have. We drove 700 miles and could not check in for 35 minutes. Due to 15 other people that were waiting on their rooms there was a very long wait to use the luggage trolly. So my wife an I had to lug 6 suitcases, a 48 quart cooler and the rest of our belongings up the stairs to the 3rd floor. We finally get all set in our room and when I went to sit on the toilet it almost fell over… it did not appear to be attached to the floor. We called the front desk and asked to be relocated and they said no the hotel was full. Save your money… do not stay here. We have been staying here for years but the PLACEISGOINGDOWNHILLFAST !!! WEWILLNEVERSTAYHEREAGAIN !!!

This hotel looks fairly new, the décor is nice and it still seems clean. If that’s what is important to you, you’ll be ok here. We like all that, but the reason we stay is to get a good nights sleep also. That is tough to do here. The walls are paper thin. It’s a shame they spent all the money to build such a nice looking place and not care about sound. As we lay in our bed we could here the couple next door talking in a normal voice. The guests on the other side made the floor pound every time they walked across their room. Same problem with hallway. I was also surprised that there was no folio under our door in the morning and they required us to check out at the front desk and wait for them to print a receipt. Not really a big deal, except it’s something we come to expect at any«nice» hotel. I guess it’s true what they say in the south… you can dress up a pig so it looks nice, but it’s still a pig.

Made reservation over the phone and was going to arrive that same evening. I called back 4 hrs later which was 11am. I had a medical emergency. I thought I was being nice to call back and cancel as the lady told me —sorry your card has already been charged due to its inside 48 hrs. I understand policy’s but that’s not what the person told me when she said she was holding the room to 6pm that same day — this hotel was not clear on the cancel policy and was very rude when I ask them to credit my card back. They did not care about a medical emergency all they cared about was the $ 88.00 they got. Thank you Bank of America for replacing my money. Hotel was rude over phone when I had to cancel and was not clear on cancel policy. Please be careful staying there with their cancel policy. No feelings when emergency s happen. Never again.
