This place by far has the worst bartenders! PJ is right in my backyard so I have been there a lot over the years. It doesn’t matter if you go on a Friday night or Tuesday during the day you will wait about 20 minutes to be served. The one plus about PJ’s is their out door patio.

After recently moving to the area I gave this establishment a second chance after sub par experience this summer. Sadly, I was even more disappointed. My boyfriend were having drinks at the bar when a female patron sitting next to me tried to order another beer. As her beer was placed in front of her she noticed it was not the same color as the beer she was drinking. She was repeatedly told by several different bartenders that they poured the beer she ordered. When she asked for a different bartender whom had served her the original beer, the staff laughed and began to mock her. In addition, a group of «off duty» staff members began mocking her and making fun of her. I have never seen such rude customer service in my life. The bartenders argued with the customers and didn’t even acknowledge most customers. They seemed more concerned with their own«drinks» and having conversations with other staff members. The food is terrible and the staff is mannerless. I will not be back to this location nor recommend it to anyone.

Our waitress sucked. She failed to provide us with the courtesy of water. We placed an order for an ultimate combo which included chicken fingers with no offer of sauces. Dropped our appetizer off and didn’t even ask for our order! I had to get her attention to place our order. My order was inaccurate and as a result I declined to order another to have it addressed. Horrible is not strong enough to describe our experience, never again.

PJ’s has gone significantly downhill in the past year or so. They continue to remove various items from their menu(notably beer towers and boneless wings. What place that has a wing night doesn’t serve boneless wings?) while offering little else to please customers. Their parking situation is a mess, there is always a wait, and the quality of the wings has decreased as the popularity of the restaurant has increased.

I was disappointed at how they«nickle and dimed» me on the bill. As a vegan I’m used to not finding much on menus, so I was not surprised when they really didn’t have much. I ordered a chicken salad without the chicken and cheese, and again wasn’t surprised when they didn’t deduct anything from the price of the salad given I didn’t have the most expensive items on the salad. But I was surprised when they charged me extra when I asked for some more vegetables on my hummus appetizer AND charged me .75 for an extra small side of salad dressing — really? If you’re going to charge for the little extras, shouldn’t you deduct for the big item I DIDN’T have? And the waitress never mentioned that she was charging me for the extras.

A young crowd, looks like a good party place. «sports bar» vibe. Food very mediocre, but service was excellent. Loaded nachos-loaded with everything but flavor, and way too many chips! Pork BBQOK, but I make better at home(actually, Wendy’s is even better)

Okay, so the stars I want to give vary from a 1 – 4 depending on when I go. Tonight, I could give it a zero if I could. I went in with my two friends to have some dinner. We sat down at the bar and we weren’t even greeted by the rude guy bartender. Just a «what do you want? Or did you not get carded yet?» Well, okay then… It just gets worse from there. He forgot half our order, and when it came time to pay I was sitting there for literally 15 minutes with cash waiting for SOMEONE to come give me change. After the bartenders decided showing each other photos off their phones was more important I just left what I had in my pocket(which wasn’t enough for a 20% tip). I am a waitress and I felt bad about it but honestly, they didn’t deserve much of a tip ATALL. When I asked for a glass of water the bartender rolled her eyes at me? And then when I politely thanked her she just fake smirked and walked away. I’m not sure what’s going on with their bartending staff but they need to get it together. The positives: when I go and sit at the tables the waitresses are nice. It’s a little slow but I don’t mind because it’s usually pretty busy and I understand things take time when it’s busy! The food is also pretty good! I highly recommend the wings, sweet potato fries, and sliders! OHANDNACHOS! They’re the BEST! I enjoy them every time I come in! :) Sucks my experience tonight was so horrific.

Last weekend was my 4th visit to Whelihan’s. I love their deck/patio outside space. There are plenty of TV’s for watching sports and their servers are really great. The food is really good here. I’ve had wings, several different appetizers, sandwiches and for the most part what I’ve had has been good. I will say that their crabcake sandwich is not what I’m used to coming from Maryland but we’re a tad biased here. And one word of advice for out of towners, they don’t automatically put any condiments on their cheesesteak subs. So if you like cheesesteaks with everything, you need to ask for it that way. Perfect spot to watch football. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.

Disclaimer: I’ve only frequented on Wingnight Tuesdays(Half off all wing orders) so my experiences are most definitely skewed and not representative of the restaurant in its entirety. Firstly, parking is half the battle on Tuesdays. Between 6−9pm, come early and ready for vehicular warfare. Keep those eyes peeled on the front entrance for car-bound walkers and dial up the aggressive driving. Count yourself lucky if you spend less than 10 minutes circling. Don’t try to be clever and park across the street at the strip mall since I’ve seen tow trucks patrolling before. 2nd: The Waiting game. Absolutely no reservations or calling ahead on Tuesdays. I suggest eating at one of the bars since tables average 1.5−2 hrs wait-time, 2+ hrs for larger groups. Better yet, send a willing soul to grab a buzzer an hour before the rest of your party arrives. Tertiarily, order food & drinks quickly after being seated. Wait staff is usually busy and the wings can take a while depending on the night. For drinks, they have a good draft selection and always 1 drink special(this past time was Strongbow). WINGS: Order the Hot-n-Honey and Sweet Chili, trust. Chipotle Lime if you’re feeling frisky and the other flavors are decent but H&H and SC are the sole reasons I come back. No longer do they split up orders, so it’s 10, 20, 40 or 50 of a flavor. Keep in mind when ordering that these wings are of the mammoth variety, so even if you’re a big boy you will probably be full after 10 – 15. Girls typically eat 8 – 10(not sexist, anecdotal findings). Wait staff are usually friendly if not flirty, but just extremely busy. Stay on top of them for extra napkins, side orders, etc. And just know that they expect a sizable tip so don’t scrimp! tl;dr Carpool. Small groups/sit at bar. Hot-n-honey & Sweet Chili make #wingsanity night worth. P. s. Just don’t go every Tuesday plisss

This place is hit or miss. I’ve been coming here for 7 years and I have never had consistent great service, if I had to review tonight’s service it was semi crappy. My friends and I sat on the patio outside, we arrived approximately 7pm got a table and enjoyed a decent band(Friday night). When it came to drink/food service the waitress was«o.k.» nice of course but SLOW!!! I ordered blue moon and went to the bar and had to ask for a orange, seriously? The bartender with pink hair was such a snatch about it I was convinced she spit on my orange. It literally took her minutes to get me the damn orange cuz she thought I was being a pain(that’s the impression I got, annoyed and irritated that I would dare ask for an orange). Anyway overall my experience was annoying!!!

Just went in for lunch as I was craving wings. The staff was really polite and the service was quick! Got an order of 10 mild buffalo wings and a cherry coke, pretty simple. The wings were really great, hot and not too spicy, just like I like them. Really crispy outer layer and a lot of meat. Overall, really good lunch and really good service. No complaints!

Dining Date June 17, 2015 for lunch. Sat at the outside patio during my lunch hour. My cheeseburger and fries were very good and were cooked perfectly. Great atmosphere for lunch with my co-workers. I didn’t have the time to fully explore the menu since I had limited time, but I would definitely come back again.

I really want to like PJ’s. This placed is packed every night of the week, so the restaurant must be doing something right, but my overall experience was just okay. The menu options for vegetarians, such as myself, are very limited. However, I was very excited to discover that they offer a veggie burger! It comes on a «whole wheat bun», and I ordered it with cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomato. The«bun» was actually a toasted ciabatta roll — it was the DRIEST piece of bread I have ever eaten and immediately fell apart. There was no cheese, yet there were onions, which I asked to be omitted. Luckily, the actual burger was pretty solid. The side of sweet potato fries was flavorful but cold. My meat-eating friends seemed to enjoy their dishes, however. The service was nice and pretty prompt, considering how busy they were.

After a long, hard, cold winter… SPRINGHASSPRUNG! And what better way to enjoy the rising temperatures then heading to one of my favorites chill spots for drinks and dancing! What a disappointment! PJ Whelihans in Blue Bell is usually the best crowd of chill, laid back, fun & exciting people, who dance, bust moves and liven up any night! To be honest, the lever of lack luster pizzazz was very upsetting and really dull! Yea there was a DJ, but he was shoved in a corner like a toss-away! Yea the deck was open and the fire pits we’re going but they were only at half blast as if the gas bill were too high last month. And the dance floor was covered by tables! REALLY??? TABLES??? That just didn’t sit well with me, the others I was with or other patrons whom I asked if they had noticed! Talk about blahhhh! Nobody is going to PJ Whelihans after 8:00pm to eat Sports Bar Food. And then… There were the bar tenders. The couple of them at the outdoor bar looked at this someone had stolen their lunch money. Sad pitiful uninviting. The indoor tenders at least had a smile. And looked as if they weren’t being held against their will. During the winter we stopped by and noticed the dance floor was closed but truly just thought it was because of the slow season. But after going last night something seriously seems off. If you read the reviews prior, I have previously posted great and positive review of PJ’s but I can say I am currently disappointed with the level of stuffiness and stiffness really rubbed me & my company the wrong way. I’d like to find out what happened here, if this is going to be the norm, and what next for PJ’s. I feel like a close friend of mine got a makeover and didn’t tell me about it. She just walked up to me with orange hair, a lip ring and tattoo on her forehead! :-( Wait A Minute… Wait A Minute… Wait A Minute… Did I mention there was BREASTMILK in the bear fridge! Yes… You read it write! BREASTMILK! Don’t believe me…

The place has become way too big for its pants. Customer service has become, if they come we will serve. They could care less about it. We just left somewhere to come here for a drink and have been waiting at the BAR for someone to notice us. It’s been 15 minutes. They truly don’t care. The male bartender only cares about the ladies his age; FLATOUT! Sad. Goodbye. We’re taking our 200 plus! Two waitresses and bartenders looked right at us; NOTHING!

I know you’re probably coming here for the ½ wings Tuesday so if you’re reading this and it’s a Tuesday and you’re wondering how long the wait is going to be, just get here before 7pm if you want to wait 30 mins or less. Otherwise, it can go up to 2 hours(trust me, I know). This also applies to any big sporting event(except for probably soccer, aka football to the rest of the world). The service is what you’d expect on a ½ price wings Tuesday: fast but busy. You might get a smile, you might not but what do you care. As long as your mouth has hot sauce smeared across it with a growing mountain of crumpled up napkins, you might not have the time to look at, much less talk to, the faceless server bringing you your plate of gluttony. If you’re an abnormal human being here on a Tuesday night, you might order something other than the wings, which is cool… but then again… you’re weird. Since it’s ½ price, you might as well get beer. I mean, that’s really the reason why they mark down the wings so that you buy beer. And you might as well since you’re gonna want something cold and hoppy to scrape the sludgy sauce from the back of your throat. Parking: Large lot but on Tuesdays, you probably won’t find parking Price: ½ wings Tuesday(about $ 0.50 per wing) Wait: None to 2.5 hours depending on when you go on what day

Great wings!!! Seriously, if you haven’t tried them you’re missing out! The service is always good at this place as well, I just wasn’t happy with the salad that I got, dry chicken and not full of flavor, that’s the only reason why Im only giving 4 stars.

P.J.‘s is your typical higher end north east sports bar. With 14 locations, I guess it’s a chain, but it’s a smaller chain and the food is pretty decent. I’ve had the wings, the burger, and the cheesesteak and they are all solid. I think the chipotle lime sauce is the best thing they have and it keeps me coming back for more.(The chipotle lime chicken cheesesteak is amazing) They also have a pretty good beer selection from your normal domestics to some more exotic craft beer from far and wide. This Blue Bell location is pretty large and I’ve been to a few private events in the side rooms /side bars that they have. The only issue with this location is the PARKING. It’s terrible. The lot gets filled quickly and they you take the risk of parking in the shopping plaza across the street and getting your car towed. I really hope they can figure something out.

I come here often for the wings. The chipotle lime is probably the best sauce and this is coming from someone who looooooves hot sauce and anything spicy. Alongside their wings, PJ’s also has a great selection of beer on tap and a handful of choice items on menu that are probably guaranteed heart attacks but delicious nonetheless… namely Buffalo Bomb Fries, Cheese Steak Nachos, etc. They have free wifi here… the password is listed somewhere alongside their draft list above the bar. The service can be hit or miss… usually it’s miss but I enjoy their wings enough to keep coming back.
