Its a local bar. Cheap drinks, laid back fun atmosphere. You’ll be lucky to find a a seat at the bar because of the regulars. Everyone is very nice. The crowd is usually a bit older because it is no longer a college bar. The pool table always has a waiting list and you best be good to get up there!

It smells of grease. Couple that with a four foot cloud of smoke and you’ll get the idea of what your clothes will smell like in the morning. The clientele order beer and whiskey (mostly) and there have been fights. ½ the people at the bar seem to never leave. The jukebox vacillates between country and classic rock. Pool. Darts. Flannel. The quintessential dive.

take note, big city hipster bars: a dive is supposed to resemble either a scene from a hubert selby, jr. novel, a bukowski short story, or that scene from «the accused» with the pinball table.
the paddock is a little of column b, and a little more of column c.
conveniently located on the block between the dui processing center and the jail, i kid you not.
