DELICIOUS! Ice cream is my favorite food, so I have tried many different kinds & places over about the past 50 years. I have rarely, if ever, found a place with this level of quality, flavor, & originality in their ice cream. It is not cheap. But you GET what you pay for, which is high quality ingredients, personally blended by the owners(who LOVE their work), into many flavors that taste fresh, creamy, & often even better than the flavor names suggest. In addition to a variety of treats to savor at the shop, there are hand packed pints, ice cream cakes, & other treats to take home, & they cater, too. Parking can be a challenge, on a Saturday night when college is in session, but Brennan’s is always worth the trip!

Brennan’s is an awesome little ice cream shop off of Main St in Bloom; if you’re heading towards Danville you make a left onto Iron St(it’s a one way street and parking can be a you know what). The owners are a little moody and take it a little personal if you’re not a fan of one of their creations. Other than that, any of the ice cream flavors that have a green sticker you are allowed to sample before you commit. Which is good, considering their prices can be a bit steep(about $ 6 for a milkshake– but it’s good!) Also, if you are out on a walk in the area with your pup; ask for a Doggie Dish– they give it for free! It’s a vanilla soft serve topped with a dog biscuit. So cute! Definitelly worth going there!

This shop really is such a great place. Great service and very fresh ice cream, their flavored change often, giving the ultimate taste experience. The place is clean, and for what you get, very affordable. You will not be disappointed.

I LOVE Brennan’s Big Chill Creations of originality — homemade ice cream flavors! Expensive, but worth it. Sometimes money can buy happiness. Cute decorations: penguins, polar bears, and seals. Not real ones. But cute ones. Rosie the cow welcomes you outside when the shop is open. Enjoy the rewards program by keeping your receipt. A million flavors! Follow on Facebook for when new flavors are opened! My favorites are: Fours a crowd, Mom’s cookie dough, confetti cupcake, and birthday surprise.

I never went to this place when I attended and later graduated from Bloomsburg University. I wish I knew about it sooner as I return to Bloomsburg area to revisit friends and the Bloomsburg Fair/Covered Bridges at Knobels. The place operates very smoothly from the Ice Cream Associates to the owner actually hands on with everything. They have a loyalty program where winners could win a gift card with the lucky receipt number. They are very family oriented with the various varieties of hard & soft serve ice creams and Italian ices. They have a cow outside of the place indicating if they are open or not. The kids tend to like to get their picture taken with it. Prices are good(compared to where I live in the NYC/PHL area) and the service was good. I like how they accept credit cards for purchases over $ 2(as many ice cream places tend to be a cash business like pizza) I regret that I didn’t know about the place until I after graduated from Bloomsburg. Strongly recommend to all customers to support a locally owned and operated family business like Brennan’s.

Love this place. Does it cost more here to get an ice cream treat than it does at Rita’s, May’s or that place that just opened by the fairgrounds? Yes. It is worth it? TOTALLY! Favorite: All things peanut butter!

This place is a hidden gem in Bloomsburg. It’s a block off Main Street, so you have to know where to look. But the ice cream is great. When the cow is out, the place is open. They close for a few months in the winter, but reopen in February. Worth the drive.
