Coincidentally, I started homebrewing the same week Twin City’s opened– I noticed the shop when I was riding my bike back from class one day, so I decided to stop by. The first thing I noticed was how nice the owner and his wife are! They’re always super helpful and offer up lots of advice on homebrewing and recipes. They’re really friendly and they never make me feel embarrassed for having tons of basic questions since I’m pretty new to homebrewing. They really care about how my beers turn out: D I highly recommend Twin Cities to any homebrewers in the BN area!

A new homebrewing shop opens in Normal just as I’m starting to make my own beer? What a lucky break!
The selection is great, the owners are knowledgeable and friendly, there is a computer linked to a database of recipes plus a book section for new brewers to get started– essentially, I couldn’t imagine brewing made any easier. Well, maybe if it came prebottled, but where’s the fun in that.
