Had the cheese Kurds, house made lemonade, beer battered fish & salt & vinegar fries. Very very good. The banana cream pie was UNREAL.

Dan the bartender and Jenny a server were very friendly and had a nice black bean soup and great warm bread. Mmmm! Watched some NCAA basketball and golf on two small, but appropriate sized plasma TV’s. Nice relaxing place to have a drink and some food while my credit card is being a worn out by the rest of my family. Comfortable seat, nice and dark, but fun social restaurant.

I’ve always had good luck here. It’s been a while but food was always good. Staff was always nice. Price is higher then you would think but it is the MOA! Over all pretty good!

The atmosphere is of a classic downtown grill/power broker hangout. Full bar and wine cellar. The menu is full of mid-century classics from the region. My wife and I had traveled all day and wanted an easy meal for dinner. We ordered sandwiches and rather than having it thrown together quickly. they had been thoroughly thought out and were tasty. I had the Reuben sandwich. Rather than sauerkraut, they used vinegar cole slaw. It added a slight sweetness. My wife went with the Walleye sandwich. I was tempted by this one as well but wanted to do something different and the lady gets her choice. She was fearful of it being fried, but I convinced her that was the classic preparation and she was thrilled with the result. Freshly prepared with house tarter sauce. She would repeat this dish multiple times. Both sandwiched came with crinkle-cut, vinegar french fries. That extra sweetness of my Reuben was offset perfectly by the sour of the vinegar. I did not use ketchup. Matter of fact, I would like to figure out how they make their fries.

I’ve been here several times. Each time had a nice meal and fairly quick service. Its a great place to get away from the craziness of the mall. On my last visit for dinner I had Chicken Marsala and it tasted great. I have not had a bad meal here yet.

if for some sad reason you find yourself at the MOA and you A) either want to find a good old fashioned Old Fashioned(or Manhattan or G&T), or B) want to eat something other than a mediocre burger, the Twin City Grill is your answer. They are like an old timey Minnesota supper club complete with walleye and wild rice soup. They have a good kid’s menu also and the service is always efficient and friendly. Food is not for true foodies but it is definitely something a foody would be delighted to find in the Mall of America.

Twin City Grill is an American classic that is centrally located inside the Mall of America. After a day of shopping(or window shopping), the question asked is «where do we go eat?» The MOA answers that, but many people don’t realize the amount of options that is within this mall. There are low-cost providers such as a Burger King, disruptors such as Shake Shack, to the traditional American grill known as Twin City Grill. And so, we decided it was time to invest more into our food and try a place like Twin City Grill. My first impressions was that I was in downtown Minneapolis inside of a Capital Grille or the Bank. What was different was this place was actually packed. We took our seats and were given a terrific waiter who memorized the menu and helped us with the selection of our food. I ordered the baja burger cooked medium and it was great ! Not a big burger guy, but enjoyed the ambiance and the entire experience. Overall, I will likely make a return!

Love this place — I’ve been there both times I passed through on business. I’m a fan of anyplace I can get a hotel shuttle to but when the food and cocktails are this good, bonus. The first time I was here a waiter spilled part of my Manhattan on me — no big deal, as I was compensated with a free piece of delicious, rich, fudgy chocolate cake. That time I had the vegetable flatbread, after sharing an order of cheese curds with my boss(who had fried walleye). It was tasty — the flatbread crust makes me think of lavash crackers, nice and thin and crisp. Most recently I was there on walleye taco night. I urge you to try these, should you also happen to be there on walleye taco night. Slabs of walleye breaded and fried and shoved into a tortilla with toppings that escape my memory now but oh boy were those tasty — all that was needed was a couple splashes of hot sauce. They went surprisingly well with the split(okay, multiple splits) of Prosecco I was drinking. I almost got them the next night too but decided to have a salad and the mushroom flatbread. I have a thing for mushrooms and this hit the spot, accompanied by a delicious Manhattan(made of Knob Creek Rye). I had dessert here one night too — a brownie sundae. It was tasty, but when has a brownie sundae not been tasty? Overall, a solid five stars for this place. It’s right inside an entrance to the Mall of America, ample parking, and free shuttles from neighboring hotels. Great food, friendly service, a great place overall.

This is my second time eating here. I had the burger this time and it was pretty good. I did not like the fries, way too sour and vinegary. The coleslaw was good and light but there was so little of it. Their free dinner rolls are so delicious! Loved the dark ambiance, it’s a nice place to eat at the mall when you don’t want to feel like you’re at the mall.

Our favorite place to eat at the mall. My daughter always gets the filet mignon on the kids menu. She loves the fresh fruit. I have not had a bad meal. The menu has something for everyone. Tip: Sign up for frequent diners card.

In MSP for training asked the locals were to come and they said twin city. Everyone recommended the fish and their salt and vinegar fries. It’s in the mall of america so yeah I wanted to check both out.

TC Grill is a swanky oasis amidst the web of recycled air and consumer despair that is the MOA. It’s very reminiscent of Ike’s, or Jax… wood bar, old-school supper club made«express» if that makes any sense. In other words: kinda classy, think Great Gatsby. The restaurant offers traditional Americana meets Minnesota — wild rice soup, turkey dinner plates, chicken Marsala, steaks, stroganoff, walleye, all great tasting, good quality stuff. Large portions too. I had their soup of the day — Long Island clam chowder(hybrid between Manhattan and New England), very tasty with a good amount of spice, bacon, and clams. Win in my book. My mom loves their stroganoff but this time got a burger. Very nicely done, well cooked and seasoned with a pretty hefty portion of fries. Service is professional, polite, and prompt. No complaints there. Walk in and you easily forget you’re at a mall restaurant thanks to both atmosphere, service, and food. In my book, anything that makes me forget I’m at the MOA is a win.

Stuck in MSP for the 2016 midatlantic blizzard led me to wander to the Mall of America and look for food on a Monday night. This is where that wandering brought me. I had a wedge salad and new york strip steak, medium rare with water and a lemon for the meal and was treated to good service in a lively atmosphere. I’m so used to making my own steaks now, so my standards have probably changed from childhood. The overall flavoring was alright, meat a tad tough. The wedge salad was fairly drenched in dressing — which may be a plus to some, but a bit of a turn off to me. I ended up scraping much of it off. Average grill-steakhouse experience… but if you’re in a mall???

I haven’t been here in years. It was a good experience the last time, but that was before Unilocal.Let’s start with the wedge salad. Maple bacon? Not my first choice to make my wedge salad sweet, but that certainly isn’t enough to get two stars. What I didn’t like is that I got two bites of my salad when my meal came out. On Jorge’s recommendation I got the rueben. The meat lacked flavor, but it didn’t lack lots of fat. The fries were all small crumbled specks. After our meals came out Jorge asked how the meals were. I couldn’t tell him yet because I was finishing my salad. The next time he stopped by was to drop off the check. I saw the water guy more than our server and they weren’t that busy. Really too bad because the last time I was there years ago, their fillet was amazing.

When I come to this big tourist trap, MOA, I like to stay away from the upstairs joints. This place has been here through and through. I am speaking as a person that comes here on business quite a bit. Local flair with class. The is the next best think to the upscale hotels nearby. It’s with checking out and whether you go simple or step it up a notch on the food menu, it’s worth it!

Hallelujah! I’ve been to hyland grill, Edina grill, and now twin cities grill. They are all delicious! First things first, how fancy is this place? It looks great! Nice, dark, romantic ambience. Appetizers? Yes they do have some on the menu, however they do bring out bread and butter before your food comes. They have a nice list of drinks but the cheapest thing would be beer at around $ 5. Entrée: I ordered the roasted grilled chicken. It was half of a chicken! I mean literally. For the price of around $ 16 you get the wings, breast, thigh and leg. You could eat half and save the other part for leftovers. It also comes with vegetables on the side(onions and carrots). I thought the carrots were delicious, just a little hard. With this entrée you also get to pick a side of your own. I ordered broccoli… It was fresh and salted! Much better and healthier choice than fries. I’d come back here to try one of their sandwiches for sure. They look delicious too.

While visiting the mall of America I decided to grab some dinner there. There were so many choices it was hard to decide. But I am happy to have settled for Twin City grill. The atmosphere was comfortable and the food tasted great. I had the ribs with salt/vinegar fries. The ribs were tender and zesty. The fries were also a welcome change from the normal fries you seem to get everywhere. But the salt and vinegar taste did get to be a bit much after eating so many. The real surprise was the loaded Mac and cheese. Make sure you get the full meal and not just the side order. The full size Mac and cheese is loaded with tomatoes, bacon, and some other ingredients I can’t quite recall. But wow it was amazing. Do not pass it up! For dessert I tried the banana cream pie. Wasn’t bad. Not amazing… but not bad. If you are at Mall of America or just visiting Minneapolis I recommend you go here. The price may be a bit much but you won’t be disappointed.

This seemed quite bizarre. I mean, who would expect to find an old-time steak house in the middle of a shopping mall? But we sure found a good one in the Mall of America. Old school for sure– dark wood elegance, and quite a few steaks and chops and prime rib. But there’s also a ton of options for everybody — salads, flatbreads, poultry, ribs, fish, seafood, even a Taco Plate of the Day. We popped in on a weeknight after a walk around the mall and experiencing that crazy 4-person roller coaster ride. We had a great meall! We started off by sharing an order of cheese curds($ 7.95) which was sort of like the love-child of mozarella sticks and tater tots. Yeah, they were great. So was my soup of the day, a sausage gumbo($ 3.95) that was chock full of goodness in a bold and very zippy base. I ordered a Blue Cheese Burger($ 13.95), served with onion strings, lettuce, tomato, salt ‘n vinegar fries, and garlic cole slaw. It was a big slab of burger with a melted blue cheese sauce on top. Add in the onion strings and the fries and the slaw and it was a very satisfying and delicious meal at a very fair price. My three dining companions were equally full from their meals, or so they thought until our server unveiled the tempting dessert tray. We chose a 4-way split on a ridiculously delicious brownie sundae($ 8.95). There was an abundance of cold ice cream, hot brownies, pecans, chocolate sauce and whipped cream to go around. Service was impeccable, even in a packed house. We had a very enjoyable meal.
