The fries are frozen from the grocery store and the pasta with shrimp is soggy. DONTWASTEYOURTIME!!!

Drove 20 miles for beef ribs 2 weeks ago. and to my great dissapoitment was told unfortunately they are out at the moment please come back later. Tonight had the craving for ribs, put the family in the truck drove the 20 miles. Sat down to order and was told they discontinued them 2 months ago. I am Pissed! The staff was very rude unprofessional and wasted my time I really hate the Mall of America. Taking the kids here is one of the most difficult things in the world and to do it starving and ribbless would test the most patient of men which I am NOT

BBQ ribs was pretty good but not crazy good. The steak was okay. Food took forever to be served, almost like 40min wait. Me and my girlfriend thought they forgot about us.

This is your casual chain restaurant, but I have to write this review just to tell you to get the Onion Loaf. It is a delicious fried ring of Onion with the best southwestern style dipping sauce. 100% fat kid/HANGOVER-food approved.

Horrible experience The food took an hour to get and when we got it, it was not very good. Pretty sure she forgot to put our orders in because two tables who had gotten there after us had received their food before us. I also never got my baked potato that I had asked for as one of my sides. The service was okay at first but then took a very long time at the end to get out checks and to pay out. Seemed like she had just forgotten about our table. The food was definitely overpriced for what it was. We will not be back.

The only star is for the wild rice soup. We ordered Burger, wing, salad, fries. Non of them are good. Dining out is expensive, don’t waste your money to somewhere that doesn’t offer good food. Will never come back again!

MOA isn’t my first choice in dining, but we were hungry after a visit to the Sea Life aquarium. Roma’s has been here as far back as I can remember. It’s usually been consistent, and this trip was no exception. I had the ribs and chicken with broccoli and baked potato. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. I forgot how much I liked the original BBQ sauce. Very tangy. Felt like I should have sprung for a bottle on the way out. Service was so-so, but the server was probably on his first day solo. Kind of botched a few things, but he had support and the mistakes were corrected before we even had to say anything. Kudos to their staff for propping the guy up. Nice enough kid, just wasn’t ready for the real thing yet. As at least one other reviewer points out, the décor is dated. It looks about 20 years past its prime. Not that it bothers me much, but it was noticeable. I assume the location does well, so I’m thinking some reinvestment is warranted. Overall, a pleasant experience with good food. It seems like MOA restaurants come and go frequently, but Roma’s has been a survivor. I’m sure we’ll be back.

The food was amazing, as expected. But what was not expected was the friendly and engaging service staff. Scott, my waiter was incredible. He is great ambassador. Great recommendations from the menu, and an excellent conversation starter. I have dined many Tony Roma’s and other locations, but this one definitely shines and stands out. Beef ribs, baby!

My friend and I started with the potato skins as an appetizer, which were very good. The main courses however put the meal in the gutter. My friend and I both ordered the half rack ribs and beef medallions for $ 25(Was not worth it!). My friend had to send back her order twice because the ribs were served to her stone cold and again because her beef was cooked extremely rare, rather then medium which she ordered. The ribs were disappointing because the had almost no meat on them, but the steak was at least seasoned very well. The bad experience didn’t end when we left the restaurant unfortunately, both of us started developing symptoms of food poisoning about an hour after we left.

The bar maid was great and paid lots of attention to us. it is always great to see someone hustle and take care of her customers. The problem was the host station staffed by five year olds without adult supervision and a very slow kitchen. The host must have whispered our name and we missed our spot. After others behind us got seated, I asked and we were promptly seated. The manager noted the kitchen problem without us prompting him and reduced the check total. Overall, not the greatest experience and I would probably go back aware of the store’s shortcomings. Three stars seems right.

Came here after a few hours of walking around the mall of America. The lunch specials were what attracted me to trying out the place. I went with the half rack of ribs, which turned out to be amazing. The service was impeccable too. The host and our server were both super friendly. It’s a great place to stop by for a bite to eat when visiting the mall.

I sat at the bar where a couple guys had just left. It was at least 5 minutes until anyone acknowledged that I was there. I finally received a menu, and it was another 5 minutes until they got me something to drink and took my food order. All this time, there were 2 – 3 people behind the bar. I’m sure the food will be good, but this level of service is inexcusable. Someone at the bar said this was not normal for here, so I guess I’m just the lucky one. Since this review has been sitting on my Unilocal app for about a year now unpublished, I will add my final comment being that the food really wasn’t good. I’d been there before with better results, but not this time.

A friend and I decided to go somewhere nice for lunch. We were seated right away. The waiter was polite but also seemed preoccupied. We both ordered a lunch special of baby back ribs. They were nice and tender but I felt the sauce was way too sticky and I was even trying to eat them with a fork. After we were pretty much finished the waiter handed us some towelettes. Kinda wish we would have had them while we were eating. When it came time for the check he just handed us one bill. Never asked if we wanted it separated or not. Which kinda upset me.

Our family at here after a Twins baseball game. Our meals where prepared nicely and tasted good. The service from the time we stepped in the door was very good. I had the Ribeye which was cooked just right. My wife had the shrimp pasta which she said was good. We were not disappointed and really happy with how the server attended to us.

We ate here for dinner on a Sunday afternoon trip to MOA. Tony Roma’s turned out to be one of the better sit-down restaurants the mall has to offer. Our server was perfect. She was there when we needed her without hovering or being intrusive. My wife ordered a steak and I chose the chicken chipotle salad. The restaurant was not very busy so our food came out pretty quickly. Now, I’m not normally a salad-guy. Too many things can go wrong when you order a salad: too much dressing, too many onions, cold protein serving, brown lettuce, etc. Thankfully, my chicken chipotle salad was nearly perfect. The chicken was still warm from being cooked and spiced to perfection. The portion was generous as well. I didn’t have to go looking for the chicken serving. The dressing was on the side(without asking.) The mini cheese quesadilla was a delightful bonus. Here was a salad that ate like a meal. Very satisfying. My wife reported that her steak was also cooked perfectly. Although the broccoli side was a little overdone. The one thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the beer. I had a tall glass of Rogue’s Dead Guy ale. The beer tasted a little stale. Not terrible. Probably just an old keg. They didn’t have much else on tap. But they did have a pretty respectable bottle offering. The next time we’re at The Mall and need to refule, Tony Roma’s will be high on our list.

Ready?! Okay! Just a little remembrance of high school football cheerleading. Anyway, we had a $ 50 voucher for the MOA Tony Roma’s. Now I have walked by this place at least 500 times. We decided to sit in the bar with the college football games going on. Scott(Early announced) came by and took our order for a Diet Coke and a Large Rogue Dead Guy.(Awesome Maibock beer, BTW) Now Scott was a whole nother character. He has worked at Tony Roma’s for 20 years or so. He had one liners, which I am sure were rehearsed for each situation. But he was still funny. I ordered the cherry wood salmon entrée and my wife got the pineapple salsa chicken. We also ordered the side Caesar salads. Solid! The salads were pretty large and the Caesar dressing was amazing. My wife asked if she could get some rolls from Scott. He came back with 3 warm hamburger buns. Extra tip for Scott. The salmon was crispy on the outside, super subtle and juicy on the outside. We asked Scott for a side of the Tony Roma BBQ sauce and it turned out to be a great bread dipping sauce, so good. Seriously, the fish was perfect. The pilaf with the BBQ sauce was fantastic and the green beans were an awesome side. Overall, We had a $ 50 voucher and we still spent $ 23 in cash, for what we had, they maybe should have been $ 60, but they could be spending the money on MOA rent, but the food was real good and service was fun and fantastic.

In town for a conference and headed over to the mall for dinner. Ordered the steak and coworker ordered the ribs. Both were really good. Steak was excellent, juicy and tender… yummy! The ribs were also very good and fall off the bone. Service was okay, not a standout. It was pretty dark in the restaurant, which would be nice if you were on a date but just a couple of peeps hanging out for dinner was a little weird.

Went here while we were visiting Minnesota(from Chicago) in the middle of a work day… place was pretty empty but thats expected in the middle of the day. The food was actually not bad, not amazing and not gourmet, but it was edible, and the service was fast. Prices were maybe a bit steep for the quality We had an order of The Original Baby Back Ribs, Filet Medallions & Ribs Combo and Filet Medallions & I dont remember… Everything was very flavorful, and there was a loooot of food. I was with a female friend and my dad and the waitress kept hitting on my dad… AWKWARD… yet totally amusing! Check this place out.
