Square Donuts

Here visiting IU and was curious. Wow what a donut, light fluffy and just the right amount if filling and glaze. Clean Friendly and fast service. You know there good when everyone in front of me were carrying out multiple boxes! Didnt slow down service. Great donut great price

Meh. Donut variety isnt great. Donuts being square isnt a big enough differentiator to be successful here. Make your donuts more flavorful and improve your variety, and you’ll do well. Otherwise, donuts here are pretty bland and unexceptional.

Good donuts, but not overly sweet. Great customer service. The gut at the counter was able to help me while the other guy waited on a family making their decisions. A quick in and out breakfast!

Damn you Square Donuts!
I needed to head over to IU prior to our track meet (ie — no family) and the smell from a block away caught my attention.
I pulled in for a Boston Crème and glazed, eating them both before I got to IU and stuffing the bag under the passenger seat. They were warm, and sugary, and made me smile.
Guess who discovered my bag?
Guess who joined me the next morning?
The grief I got from the family was certainly worth getting to go back for a second time!

Service was great. Credit card okay as long as over $ 1, which was reasonable. I like it. Nice and friendly place. highly recommended.

better get here before 2pm or else youll have to settle for bad donuts. these donuts are worth the drive. DELICIOUS!!!

Truly the only donuts I love more than Krispy Kremes. These are so soft, fluffy, sugary and mouthwateringly delicious! And always fresh. Go between 1am and 3am for a late night donut stop while they’re baking them fresh!
My fave is the vanilla cream filled one. To die for!

We love to hit square donuts on the way to church on Sunday morning. Looks and feels clean. Good service. Haven’t tried the coffee… but I have usually finished a pot at home before we get here, so I will have to try this in the future.
The place used to be a Taco Bell, so if it doesn’t look like it was supposed to be a donut place, it wasn’t. But this is most definitely a step up. Good variety, friendly service, and the donuts are square… so what’s not to like.
Also, lots of seating as others have said, so no worry if you want to meet someone here, you’ll have a place to sit. I will say that it echoes quite a bit, so if there are a few tables talking, or my noisy family happens to be there, conversation might be a challenge.
Hours are from about 6 – 2 or something like that, so no late night runs, but this is a good early morning stop on the way to work, class or church.

Yep, they have some sqaure donuts here… so, yeah that’s novel I suppose.
Plenty of seats in case you choose to «dine in».

Yes, they’re square. I remember these donuts from Terre Haute when my parents were in graduate school at ISU. It’s a nifty concept, they’re fresh and taste great. Good location, always friendly service.

This is my personal favorite in the world of doughnutdum. As a glazed man, the delicious glaze of square doughnuts its truly on a pedestal all its own. Also, the price is very fair and from 1 – 2 PM they have happy hour doughnuts for a .25. It simply cant be beat.

I was a little bit disappointed with Square Donuts. While they are good, they are so seriously caked with sugar that even my seriously sugar loving taste buds didn’t want more than one. I have tried the plain and the apple donuts and the apple was better — the apple distracts you from the crunch of the sugar. I’m not saying I would never eat one again, but it wouldn’t be my donut of choice.

Couldn’t be easier. Good and fresh doughnuts. they are square (+1 star, it tastes so much better).
