Sports Clips

I have been going here since this location opened. By far the most consistent good haircuts I have ever gotten from a chain joint. The staff is experienced and friendly.

For a chain hair cutter, Sports Clips is doing it right. They have experienced hair cutters, and I have received 2 very good hair cuts here. The cutters talk a lot, so if you are into that, this place is good for you.
I am not a big sports fan in general, so I don’t care for the atmosphere. The MVP is a pretty relaxing experience, but is a bit pricey-​both times I’ve gotten this or free.
They can be a bit pushy at the sales counter, but you don’t have to buy anything. I’ll be back get a haircut.

I’ve been going to Sports Clips in town, here, since around when it opened, along with my two boys.
My boys’ haircuts have been great every single time. I plan to keep bringing them back. The stylists are always great with them, and I’ve never been unhappy with the results.
My haircuts, on the other hand, have been hit-​or-​miss. Every time I get a pretty good haircut there, I go back, and the next time it’s really pretty bad. They also don’t do all the details most barbers do — especially involving ears.
So that’d be three stars, but I’m dropping them down another star because the place just feels weird. Very uncanny. The stylists don’t interact with one another at all. They never talk, joke, etc. When they borrow something, the conversation is really quick and scarily formal. This lends the place a really unsettling air where it feels like they all hate or barely tolerate each other. I hope this is an illusion — their management might just have some rules about it — but it makes the whole experience uncomfortable. I’m used to my barbers bantering with one another, and that’s completely absent here.
So I’m going to keep bringing my kids, but probably won’t be back for my own haircuts in the future.

Long wait and under staffed. Found one great stylist among the group after getting less than satisfying results. Proximity kept me coming back. Ask for Ali.

Worst haircut I’ve ever had. The girl stank like cigarettes and coughed in my head the whole time. Not dry coughs, gross wet coughs. I waited really long and they weren’t very nice. It was a free haircut and I wish I hadn’t gone. Yikes right?
