Sole Sensations

As a college student it’s hard to find affordable footwear that actually supports your feet, and whenever I have found affordable supportive shoes they look like something my grandma would wear. When I went to Sole Sensations I was really surprised with the selection that they had. The employees were all very helpful– telling me about all the different styles and how the different footbeds support certain types of feet. They have name brands such as Birkenstock and Hunter boots, but I ended up getting a pair of Earth boots and Aetrex sandals. The arch support on both pairs of shoes are amazing. They molded to my feet– I pretty much live in them! They’re perfect for walking to class and around campus.

Always a great experience! I have difficult feet and Wendy and Dr. Stid did orthotics for me. Just today I took a friend in for a consultation with Wendy. I was very impressed with the time and care she took in testing range of motion of all parts of the foot, checking the gait, and then casting for orthotics. I have bought 6 pairs of shoes at Sole Sensationsfrom athletic to dressy and have had to do special orders, sometimes ordering twice to get just the perfect fit. They have user-​friendly store hours and frequent sales or special clearances alerts on your e-​mail. Everyone in this shoe salon knows their shoes and is totally customer oriented. Also nice to have a complimentary warm cup of coffee or herbal tea to enhance the experience or have an appointment for a mani or pedi with «natural» products, or shop the «fun» accessories and gift boxes.
