This is or was the bake house for two retail outlets in Bloomington Indiana… they used to serve out of here also but have now closed this as a retail outlet. Closed for retail business so just drive right by.

The Scholars Inn Bakehouse across the freeway from the Oliver winery is the main bakery for a couple of places in Bloomington. The main bakery is a very simple front with large windows into the bakehouse itself. The bread is very fresh of course, but the sandwich names a rather misleading. The «famous Tuna» or something like that, was just a simple tuna salad with a tomato and a leaf of lettuce, same for the rest of the fare.
