Great food options, giving 3 stars because service could have been better, and hash browns were burnt.

Some times, I’m just in the mood for Perkins. I’ve probably been to this location about 15 times since they opened. If the restaurant is busy, they do a good job — the service is good and the food comes out quickly. On the other hand, if it’s slow you get the complete opposite experience. The staff(including the«manager») seem to hang out in the kitchen so they can chat. There are extended periods of time when you don’t see any of the staff. Also, during the slow periods, it seems like they are either minimally staffed in the kitchen, or perhaps they have the B-Squad working. The slower it is, the more likely that your order is incorrect, made poorly, or extras are forgotten. I stopped there a few days ago for a quick breakfast. There were about 5 – 6 tables of people /2 servers. My order was taken quickly and the food came out correctly(although, it seems Perkins Inc. has no idea how to make crispy hash-browns). After I got my food, I somehow became invisible. I ate my breakfast with never a check-back at the table, finished up, and then was ignored by my server, the other server, and the manager as I waited for over 20 minutes to get my check. I’m sure I’ll go back to Perkins to get my pancake fix — probably not this one.
