Omelette was great, when I got the one I asked for. I ordered a chocolate milk and the milk was sour. Near the end of my visit, I was rushed out of the store and my hash browns were taken away while I was turned away for a second to get the ketchup. I expect more out of Perkins service; next time I’ll go to the one on normandale instead.

Wow, I am surprised that this Perkins does not have high reviews. Seriously, this is THEBEST Perkins I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to several other Perkins(Midway — scary, Woodbury — average, Bloomington — gross) and here’s why from now on this is going to be my Perkins : *Located in Edina *24 hours *Big Building *SUPERCLEAN and the presentation of their desserts are organized *Hosts are presentable AND chipper to seat you *Servers are again presentable here(seriously I’ve had a server at a Perkins with an inch long pinky coke nail — scary) *Prompt with food orders AND are accommodating Our server was great, friendly with a can do attitude. Also she was able to substitute a salad for any other sides i wanted, unlike the other Perkins who refuse to substitute for anything. Great experience and definitely a comeback :)

Very slow. Food was so-so…biscuits were dry, french toast undercooked, omelettes were light on the fillings. Waiter was nice but very busy. Wait time from ordering was very long.

Worst service and bad food. Broccoli undercooked. French toast overlooked so much it was tough and dry. Pancakes were raw in the middle They overcharged us on kids meals by charging for side dishes that they said were included then refused to take them off the bill. A really bad dining experience.

SLOW. SLOW. SLOW. Slower than two Christmas molasses turtles banging in a wool sock or whatever … oh my god where in the hell did my server disappear to? … why am I standing for 15 minutes at the host stand? … seriously there are only two tickets in the cook’s window? This happens every time I go there. Every single time. Everything has fallen apart and it takes two hours just to get coffee and a meal. The food is fine, though. Once you’ve waited 30 minutes to get your chicken tenders. Just go to Perkins in Edina instead.

Slow service… they actually lost my order… took forever! They are open 24 hours… maybe you lose quality when you are open around the clock… not sure I would give it another shot! Sorry folks… sometimes you gotta get it right the first time!

Can’t expect much from a Perkins. I’m glad this one has mimosas, it made their very limited brunch menu better. The florentine eggs Benny was pretty good, I had them add ham and take off the tomatoes that were probably kept frozen before cooking. When we arrived we were told the wait would be 5−20minutes. Quite a large gap in time and looking at other reviews it seems like they never got the quoting wait times down. However, we did only have to wait 5 minutes so that was a plus – I was pretty hangry and it was a Saturday morning to kudos to that. Our server was good. He was a pretty cool dude, I think his name was Eric. Everyone else seemed like a turd in the lawn with minimum customer service skills– not completely rude, not impressive just hanging enough on mediocre to pass as customer service. If there was a 2.5 star rating– right in the middle this place would get it. Not a strongly dislike, not a loved it. I wasn’t WOWed, I wasn’t upset. It was good for a Perkins.

We have turned to this place at midnight with lot of hunger and it took nearly 20 minutes for someone to just get the water and to mention it was not a rush day for them. There were only 5 – 6 tables occupied and after repeated attempts asking for a waiter to take the order… he took the order and it took another 40 minutes to get the food by the time we are almost exhausted and about to sleep… and after taking the order they even couldn’t serve it properly for what we ordered… it took back and forth of the order and was frustrating night… will never ever go back to this place… I rather prefer to sleep without food than visiting this place

Where to begin. Forget about Disney World — an adventure you’ll remember is right here. The ambiance was like a delightful combination of my grandmother’s lake home and a Days Inn. It was early morning, so we started off with asparagus and mushrooms. Duh. Salt and pepper shakers were at the ready. TIP: We told our server that we were really hungry– and by God it made a difference. We finished off our meal with their world famous pies. This was a mistake. The pie tasted like vomit from a corpse. Other than that, pretty good. Pretty good.

Saturday morning wait time about a half hr when we were told 10 mins. Only given one menu for a table of four. Ordered our food and literally waited 40 mins for it. The muffin was extremely dry and seemed microwaved warm. Extremely disappointed with this place!

I’ve been here many times during their breakfast hour. I was satisfied with my service there during those times. I think that the employees did a pretty good job at running everything. Every time I’ve been there, I’ve ordered The Tremendous Twelve. To me, it’s a great way to save money and be able to bring food home with me for lunch or dinner. I think they did a great job cooking the food. I’ve always been pleased with their Tremendous Twelve. Their food is delicious. The waiters are always friendly and on top of their game. My only complaint is that sometimes, I’ve had issues with the cleanliness of their bathroom. Overall, I think this is an excellent place for breakfast. I will continue coming here for their Tremendous Twelve when I’m in the area.

It’s not even that great for a Perkins. The coffee is HORRIBLE, it tastes like it was made yesterday. Most Perkins have great coffee so I’m not sure what’s going on here. The service is much better when I’m wearing my corporate badge I’ve noticed. The food is decent, it’s a consistent Perkins for food. But the service and the coffee give it only a 2.

This Perkins on the edge of Edina has long been called«power Perkins» due to the large number of meetings, deal making and networking going on each weekday morning. Otherwise it’s pretty much the same as every other Perkins with hearty ample breakfast goodies including my favorite raspberry muffins.

Family had a recent frustrating visit here. We were told it was a 15 minute wait, and ended up waiting for 35 minutes. With three hungry kids this was really frustrating and we would have gone somewhere else had we known this. On top of that, we were seated at a table that hadn’t been totally cleared yet. Several of those plastic receipt carriers on the table, with receipts in them, that someone hadn’t picked up. Several syrup carriers on the table. Not sure if it had been cleaned. We had to ask repeatedly for a high chair to be brought for one of the kids, as well as to get enough menus. Our server took 10 minutes to come to the table the first time. We all ordered everything right away as we were all very hungry at this point. We requested one of the muffins to come out«as soon as possible» for the kids to split because they really needed to eat. The«ASAP» muffin took almost another 15 minutes to be delivered to the table. The rest of the food and drinks came out sooner than anticipated for the speed everything else had been up to that point, and was as to be expected for Perkins.

Super friendly service late at night and I was tired, that makes me really happy. Good food and great selection. Food had good flavor, my entrée was fried and it came out hot and crunchy. Thanks!

I told my cousin that GA don’t have Perkins. Her husband tells me that we have Waffle House and they don’t, lol. I like Perkins. It’s borderline Denny’s & Waffle House. The staff was really nice. It was late night, close to 10 pm when we went and ate. I didn’t want to overeat so I just ordered the Honey Mustard Chicken Crunch. It was soooo good. It also came with bread, which was really yummy. Next time I visit my cousins, I will come back!

It’s Perkins. What do you expect? I know it’s not the Five Crowns in Newport Beach. But come on. At least be polite. We walked in, and two workers were too busy to stop their conversation to greet us. Finally, one of them walked us over to a table, threw the menus down and left. On the way, another worker walked right in front of us without saying ‘excuse me’. The place is getting dirty and dingy. I pray to the Kitchen Gods that it was clean back there. Sometimes you have to go to a greasy spoon, but that doesn’t mean you should be served with a greasy spoon.

Best Perkins, ever! Food is standard Perkins fare. Good service, huge dining areas. Cute old school diner style eat up counter. If you like Perkins, breakfast, or a safe bet on the«American nearly fast food tip» this is the Perkins to visit. **Disclaimer: This Perkins is rated on a curve against all other Perkins I’ve experienced. If you are not familiar with Perkins, as a whole I would give the chain a 2.5 reliable, but mainly meh. Breakfast is decent.**

Typical perkins food but it was fast and good service… This was the biggest perkins I’ve ever seen! The staff was nice and hard working. I will go back, and had widest selection of baked goods i’ve ever seen at a perkins.

The classiest location of Perkins in existence by my accounts. First off it’s on the Bloomington-Edina border, if you need to know one thing about Minneapolis suburbs, it’s that Edina is up there. Second, it’s located in the busiest area, right off France Ave and 494 situated next to some office buildings. I’ve heard that this Perkins location is one of the busiest and has very high profits, which I don’t doubt. All the traffic makes this Perkins a great place to go, whether for lunch or dinner or a late night snack, it’s clean and friendly. The best service I had there was from a server named Tom. He is the most friendliest and upbeat person, you’ll understand if you meet him. The food is great, a large menu from desserts to brunch and dinner. Perfect for all occasions. I would recommend their pancakes or sandwiches. I appreciate how they’re really helpful with splitting checks too.
