The lavender plants I bought here were awesome! Two years later they are still going strong. We try and stop here a few times every spring.

Called from California to order flowers for my dad in the hospital. Received terrible customer service. After my call was transferred to the floral area, the sales person put me on hold twice then when I asked about sending an azalea she acted like I was speaking another language. She put me on hold a third time to go ask for help. An azalea? Really? How much training do these people get before manning the phones? At this point, I hung up and called Casey’s garden shop where I received excellent customer service. My mom called today to tell me the flowers were beautiful. Glad I made the choice to take my business elsewhere.

Hauled Christmas tree home only to find that it stood lopsided in the stand. They hadn’t drilled the hole straight at the nursery. They told me that I could bring it back in and they would redrill it. I asked them for a refund and they denied it — sale was final even after they ruined the tree by drilling the hole incorrectly. «I’m not going to refund a tree that will not stand up straight!» Well, that’s not my fault now, is it? Don’t do business with them. Terrible customer service.

Love Owen in the Spring! $.99 cents for seed grown geraniums. Can’t beat that anywhere. Their baskets are all very pretty too and they usually have a good special on them near Mother’s Day. You can also visit their cooler for bare root stock items such as berry bushes. I have raspberries that I planted several falls back from bare root and they grew great.
