Hyland Disc Golf Course

Probably one of the most fun courses I have played anywhere… and I’ve lived/​played in CO, TX and NM. While it does cost $ 5 to play, I can understand, as the resort would not normally maintain the hills otherwise.

This is a Disc Golf Course review although they do have a driving range on-​site.
The Hyland Ski area is about one mile from work I have always been tempted to get a ski pass to hit the ski area before, and after work to and from work (I pass right by, near the 494 & E. Bush Lake area). They also have an excellent cafeteria with short order food service.
The disc golf course is built on the ski hills around the driving range, 18-​holes with a nice view of the South Metro looking North from the top of the hill. Fee’s for playing are $ 3 and includes free disc rentals if you don’t already own your own. I like start playing and do the first 9, stop for a quick bite to eat and do the last 9 afterward. The food service is actually really impressive during the summer time, great rates, very few people, good food.
NOTE: The correct address for the Disc Golf course is: 8800 Chalet Road, Bloomington, MN 55 438. The Disc Golf webpage at the time of this writing is incorrect and lists Hyland Park’s Main Park Location while the Disc Golf course is at the Hyland Park Ski Area on the opposite side of the park.
