Henri Bendel

Recently my favorite piece of HB jewelry broke. The courteous staff offered to get it repaired for me. When they were unable to make repairs to it they replaced it with no fuss at all!
What could have been heartbreak with my favorite piece breaking turned out to be a skip in the park! I was so happy I wrote a thank you letter to corporate to make sure they knew what amazing management they have. I even got a personal timely reply from the corporate offices!
I am dedicated to HB and will be very loyal after that amazing customer service! They really go above and beyond at HB! I love everything I have ever gotten there. Classic.

My favorite place for upscale costume jewelry and the only reason I ever enter the Pit of Despair… aka MOA. Love me some HB. One of my pieces broke and they are sending it in for repair at no cost to me. I’m not sure I would even expect that from a normal jeweler. Love love love this place.

I love Henri Bendel candles and so I was excited to see a location in the MOA. The sales staff at this location was friendly, helpful and not at all pushy which I always appreciate.
Overall product quality is very high for the price regardless of whether its leather goods, accessories or candles you’re considering. Speaking of candles, one of their scents is a dead ringer for Jo Malone’s Pomegranite Noir which is $ 60 — the Henri Bendel version is ½ the price and even cheaper if you are buying more than one.

I was so excited to hear that MOA was getting a Henri Bendel store and boy my excitement was right on target. It is one of those stores that does a great job at the retail version of «curb appeal». I have a hard time believing anyone could just walk by without at least peeking in for a moment! So much color and shiny beautiful things!
I went in with absolutely NO intention to buy anything, but the very first item to catch my eye, a fabulous black leather wallet with gold accents, made me realize there was no way I was leaving without making a purchase. I probably could have bought the entire store and wallowed in pure happiness and financial ruin all afternoon. However, I ended up with a great new bag: luxuriously soft black leather and gold accents. (and yes, I will be back for the wallet!) The prices may be a wee bit spendy here, but the quality is really worth it, both in their bags and accessories. I can already tell this bag is not going to wear or break easily.
The customer service is what really pushed the review from 4 to 5 stars, all the sales people were really friendly! The girl that helped my boyfriend and me was especially nice. She wasn’t overly pushy and was really knowledgeable about all the products. I really enjoyed shopping with her help, she was fun and understanding and didn’t act stuck-​up or anything like some associates at designer boutiques. I felt completely comfortable looking around at everything. It seemed like they treated everyone the same and didn’t do the typical «scan» for people they think would for sure buy or people who look wealthy etc.
I signed up for their email offers, the sales clerk told me I get 20% off for my birthday, so I’ll be back for that wallet, and maybe more!

I’m walking down the south avenue at the Mall of America and I already know I’m in for a long hallway of temptation… Superdry for their jackets, True Religion for their jeans, JCrew… The list goes on. Henri Bendel is a newly opened store located at the south avenue of the mall and as I approach the store with EVERY intention of not going in, I just could not resist the new store look with all its shiny accessories and beautiful leather bags.
I spent a little TOO much time in the store lingering trying on all of the fabulous bracelets, which are TOTALLY worth the price. The quality is definitely there. Anyway, I did end up buying a bag that I shouldn’t have but who can say no to the smell of a new leather bag?
The customer service at this store is above and beyond fantastic. I find it hard these days to walk into a high end designer store and receive good customer service. A lot of sales people that work at high end stores have a stuck up attitude that gives off that vibe telling you they don’t need to give any good service since the store will do well with OR without you. Now that’s no way to look at customers and Henri Bendel definitely got that memo. Every single sales person that I came across was helpful and if I put an object down to look at something else, they didn’t treat me like other high end stores do: like crap.
All of their accessories are adorable and if I still had mom and dad’s credit card to go spend on whatever I’d like I would definitely spend it all in there.
