Yum! The food is amazing and the portions are gigantic. Highly recommend this fast casual spot.

Solid place with tasty gyros. The food itself is good, but the place needs a bit of a lift. I know it’s not dirty, but just a bit old looking. Also if the property isn’t owned, the landlord needs to fix the parking lot. I have to say that the quality is high, so prices feel in line and be reviewer that wanted a gyro for under $ 7 needs to stop hitting the pipe and wake up in the current decade instead of 1970.

Former regular customer. Food is great. Service stinks. Second time in a row I sat at the cash register waiting to pay for my gyros. Gyros were sitting there too. After 5 minutes I left. Dark haired guy with glasses thought it was more important to sit at a table and talk to someone. Person that made my gyros noticed I was standing there after a few minutes, he looked around perplexed and proceeded to continue his work, while I stood there.

A decent little eatery with a tasty gyros. It’s clean, fast and reasonably priced. It’s a nicer greasy spoon, very casual and simple. Enjoy!

Best Mediterranean restaurant in Twin Cities!!! That says it all. I have been here several times and love the food here. Have tried all their chicken pit as and Chicken Philly is my favorite. Also like the gyro pita with their spicy cucumber sauce. You have to have their Falafal, it’s the best I have ever tried anywhere. It’s a bit crowded but you always end up finding place to sit. The staff is very nice and know what they are doing. Pita bread and hummus is one of my other favorite to try as a side. Have no pictures(well I end up eating it so quick that I tend to forget ;))

Food was good but not really greek. The tzaziki was watery and there was no garlic in it! Had the soup looks home made but missing salt and pepper just basic cooking … Definitely not Yaya’s cooking… Still looking for a good greek place in MN. …

LOVE their spicy gyro! It NEVER disappoints. I could eat this everyday but my love handles would hate me. You walk in, you order, they make it super fast for you, done. Their sauce is so good! Its got a kick to it but its not going to make you run to the bathroom. But I guess this is coming from someone who thinks hot cheetos is not spicy. Sometimes I’ll ask for extra sauce but not today. You won’t regret it. Plenty of parking so invite everyone!

Two authentically Greek brothers own and run this place. one of my favs. Great gyros, mini pizzas, and salads. Can’t go wrong with either the Greek seasoned French fries(made to order, always hot) or the red potatoes! Great cookies and baklava for dessert, too! Very small,(only about six tables and a counter) so come early… it gets busy! Or take it to go!

A perfect place for a nice night out! Excellent service and food. My only reservation is that the menu is slightly limited and does not contain a wide array of food. However, every time I have gone, I have found something I was in the mood for. Great place for celebrating a birthday or grabbing something to eat with friends.

Super great food! You will not find a better tasting gyro! Service is pretty quick too. If you have been there before and know what you want, call ahead. This place fills up fast and can get crazy busy! Clearly they have good food if it’s crazy!

In the midst of a few Mediterranean restaurants that serve up gyros, this is my favorite one to go to. Why? Because their gyros are tasty, spicy and incredibly filling. The fries are pretty awesome as well. Come here for lunch and bless your mouth with some of the best gyro meats available in the Twin Cities. If you like spice, go with the hot sauce. You can have it added to any of their gyros! The café is not big so please do everyone a favor and order, grab a seat and eat so everyone else can get a chance to enjoy this deliciousness. No need for side parking. Plenty of parking spaces available. Don’t quote me on that though during lunch time.

Great simple Greek food. Had the gyro salad(fresh, crisp & flavorful) with a side of falafel(surprisingly good) and a spinach pie(tasty but a bit oily). The place is simple but still comfortable, and the service was friendly and efficient. Yes — it’s great value for money, but more than that — it’s just great food, period.

Greek McDonalds… not sure what all the fuss is about. Very fast service, decent gyro meat, but not overly impressed. Rice was bland, pita bread was average at best. A cut above taco bell, but not much more… sorry Gyropolis you’re not up to your current Unilocal rating…

We were pleasantly surprised when we checked out Gyropolis for the first time. According to my brother-in-law, who has been to Greece, it is the most authentic Grecian food he has had in Minnesota, let alone the U.S. Great gyros, but also great chicken wraps. Their fries are seasoned and delicious. Very reasonable price and great customer service. They once gave me a free token for a gyro because they forgot to give me my fries, when I had only been waiting for 5 min. I never even complained, they just decided I had waited too long.

Surprisingly good for an unassuming setting. The pitas were good quality, even if not freshly made. What impressed me was the speedy, friendly service and the high quality vegetables, which are usually the weakness of this type of shop. I had the veggie lover’s gyro, which trades some of the gyro meat for a greater variety and quantity of fresh vegetables. This suited me quite well. I also tried some of the hummus and falafel, which were also quite good. The prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the servings are quite well sized. The pitas may not look that big, but they are fully stuffed.

Easy to get to in Bloomington and ample of parking. It’s not even lunch hour and there’s a line at the order counter. There’s a great variety to the gyros menu, but I’m pretty simple the way I like mine — gyro beef & grilled onions. The onions are not pre grilled so it took them a couple minutes to grill onions on spot for my order. At check out the cashier says my order is $ 7 and something cents, I was surprised, that much for a very basic or simple gyro. When I inquired on how it was $ 7 he rolls his eyes, scoff and states that any create your owns are $ 7. Ridiculous. The size of the gyro is decent. My final thoughts: overpriced for just the gyro, no sides or drinks with that.

The spicy gyro is, quite simply, the best gyro I’ve come across in Minneapolis, and may have dethroned Nupa in Rochester as the best gyro I’ve had in the Midwest. Some of the freshest veggies I’ve had outside a farmer’s market or straight off the vine, and the meat was tender and juicy. The pita was light while still having a palpable bite to it and tasted like it had just come out of the oven. The real winner here is that spicy cucumber sauce, though. Spicy and refreshing all at the same time, and a perfect compliment to every ingredient. You get a crazy amount of food for dirt cheap, and to top it all off, they had freshly baked chocolate chip cookies during my last visit. It was still warm, gooey, and slightly chewy as I devoured it. Perfection. My only complaint is that there isn’t a location closer to Uptown. I’d be here everyday.

Very good quick Greek food off the I 494 The lamb and beef gyro is tasty. One of us had the gyro sandwich that was loaded with meat and tatziki sauce. I had the gyro plate that was loaded with meat and Greek salad The owner gave us some potatoes that were amazingly moist and well seasoned And the price with drinks is under 10 dollars a person Worth coming here
