To my knowledge there are three Schools in Bloomington Normal that belt in BJJ and offer classes in GI. Frequency is one of the three.
It is difficult to find your first visit, but relatively easy to get to after you know your way, near downtown Bloomington. The dojo is safe, a good financial investment with competitive monthly due rates, offering great twice a week black belt level instruction (T and TH), extra classes and open mats several times a week during which the art of NO-​GI can also be practiced, (the extra open mat time is a real bonus), Muay Thai and Yoga classes, too, and best if all a skilled, highly respected, and internationally known Professor of the art 37 year Robson Moura at the head. Frequency is a respectful, safe, and encouraging place to grow and help others grow in understanding this century old martial art known as GI – BJJ. Recommend anyone interested in BJJ in the Bloomington area to visit Frequency and meet Ed, his instructors, and his students.
