I never wanted to come back to this place again after my last experience being sent to collections for having a very small balance (aprox $ 50ish) left on an account I’d been paying on regularly and was set to pay off the very week I received the collections notice. Prior to receiving service you need to sign a document noting their collections policy, but since I didn’t receive the bill for two months and there was no further mention of this policy on the statement, I had no memory of that form. I was especially upset since that was the first collections notice I’d ever received in my life. That was a long time ago though, so I called to try to get an appointment because I noticed a mole that used to look normal but has now developed irregular borders, has grown, and has changed colors from tan/​pink to black and red and is itchy. I told the person on the phone all of this and the next available appointment was three months from today. I even asked what the policy on getting seen for suspicious growths was in light of the fact that my husband got a next day appointment for a suspicious mole at this same office just recently and she said they just schedule the «next available» appointment. I called a different dermatologist and will be seen in two days, no problem. I didn’t want to make the drive to an out of town doctor, but if I have skin cancer I’m not going to wait 3 months to find out.
