After seeing Jeanne Robertson at the BCPA my daughter and I stopped to grab a bite to eat and head back to the hotel.
The inside of the restaurant was clean and actually kinda cool. The staff was nice and patient and I had a mushroom Swiss burger. I can’t remember when I had a burger tastes so great. It melted in my mouth. Great. now I want another one.
The DQ in my area is old, run down and pretty gross… but Bloomington has their sh@t together. Way to go!

Customer service is not the best. I asked if they wore gloves, the manager on duty ask the cook about it and he claims that he didn’t know they had gloves. Burgers were bland and with the wrong toppings. Fries were ice cold. The only thing that was edible was the sundae, I won’t be visiting there anytime soon if ever. Gross !!!

I’ve never had anything other than ice cream there but this time I took my kids for burgers and chicken tenders. I’ll start with the good news. The chicken tenders were good. All white meat and they did not appear to be frozen. I was very disappointed with the burgers. The pattys were grey and chewy. If you’ve ever looked at a mcdonalds patty, well this was exactly like that. It was almost like it had been steamed rather than grilled. If you really enjoy a good burger keep on driving. There are tons of other fast food options in this town. I also was not impressed with the cleanliness of a «flagship» restaurant. Every single empty table inside the place was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned.

This is the biggest Dairy Queen «Chill and Grill in the world. It’s usually pretty busy and when we first went there, service was pretty slow. The last few times we’ve been in there, it seems to have picked up a little bit, although the drive-​thru still takes a bit. The décor is nice, new, and modern.

I usually don’t write reviews for national chain restaurants, but I’m going to make an exception for the Bloomington DQ Grill and Chill.
Today, I tried the half pound grill burger with cheese (minus the bun — low carb style), and was blown away by the quality of the ingredients: beef, lettuce, cheese, and tomato. This burger is the best kept secret in fast food.

What a beautiful place! The outdoor space is massive and very attractive. Larger than usual selection of prepackaged, frozen goodies. Same awesome Blizzards! They did a super job on my daughter’s special order birthday cake also.
