Road tripping through Illinois for the first time, this hotel was a reasonable clean bed for the night. Pros: — Right off the highway — Moderately priced — Clean room — Night manager was ready for our arrival and handled a mix-up with our room-rate professionally Cons: — Breakfast room is not large — the circulating guests and tables are crowded in there. — Tight quarters in the parking lot. The spots are marked for compact vehicles, so if you have a full size car or van it is easier to park close to the parking lot entrance. oh, and oops. the lot does not«go around» so you have to back out if the spots are full.

We stayed here a few years ago and it was decent but oh my gosh has it gone down hill. One word: HORRIBLE! We left one night early because it was so bad

This hotel was below par. The one bedroom suite was smaller than most other Country Inns. All it had was an uncomfortable couch and no chair. The breakfast selection was minimal compared to other hotels in Bloomington. The desk in the room was too small to do work on and the TVs were outdated.

Stayed here 4 nights… This is a decent Country Inn — on par with most you’ll find, buts its location is not so great. It’s NOT in a bad or unsafe area. It’s just in an area that has very few decent restaurants, retail activity of merit. Bloomington-Normal is not a huge area — so even though it’s off the beaten path — the path ain’t that far away anyway. Probably 15 – 20 minutes to the airport. I just prefer the other side of town where there is more going on.
