Got a couple of cones and some handpacked to go. The ice cream melts quite fast because it doesn’t have all that other stuff to keep it firm as it loses it cool. I’ve no complaints; only complements. I’d say it’s very good. :)

So I’m probably not one to judge an ice cream place of any kind, because I don’t enjoy ice cream as much as I do every other dessert (it’s too cold, I take small bites, resulting with it melting before I ever get to finish) … BUT … Every year, once a year (Fall), I come to Brusters to get my fix: their apple dumplings… It’s amazing !!! A WHOLE Warm apple covered in a soft pastry shell, served with cinnamon ice cream … Yes… it just screams delish! So ice cream lover or not Brusters is a must try! *side note … It can be hit or miss… Sometimes it’s piping hot while other times the apple is still cold … Don’t let that discourage you … Cause the few times they get the temperature right, you’ll understand my Fall obsession.
We do occasionally bring the kids here … They have a «Dino sundae» (vanilla ice cream, sprinkles, and a dinosaur sugar cookie) seems pretty basic, but it’s right up any kids ally.

ZOMFG the «regular» waffle cone came with like 3 scoops of ice cream in it. Huge. I got rocky road but it wasn’t really that rocky at all. More like chocolate with the occasional pebble. Meh whatever, bring the kids, bring the dog, sit on the bench and enjoy some ice cream.

Got a coupon in the mail for some free ice cream so I thought I would check it out. I never heard of it before. I like that they have no sugar added and yogurt options. They let me try a couple samples and they were nice about it. I got coconut frozen yogurt, so good, it didn’t taste like grocery store ice cream, it tasted really fresh and had sugared coconut in it. They had a lot of flavor choices and some of them were pretty unique. Definitely will be back, weird to give a 5 star review for ice cream but it was one of the better random ice cream places I have been to regarding the quality of the ice cream.

Fresh ice cream, didn’t taste like it came out of a carton. Plenty of classic and new flavors to try. Benches in the shade for hot day. They also have treats for the four-​legged friends.

I did not like it. It is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too sweet and tastes nothing special, and two scoops are like one scoop anywhere else. And the ice cream was watery (melting) before being handed to me. Sorry.

If you get the Pink Lemonade Sherbert, be prepared for a sugar overload. Delicious, but omfg.

This is my favorite ice cream place in Bloomington. I think that the ice cream is as good if not better than Chocolate Moose, plus the lines are way shorter.
Also, it seems that there is an endless list of ice cream choices and varieties of sundaes, splits, milkshakes etc…
Also on snowy or rainy days you get a free scoop of ice cream with the purchase of one. I suppose this is to give you an extra insulating coat to protect you from the elements!

Nothing special here. My walnut maple cone wasn’t bad, but my ice cream companion had a turtle flavor that tasted like it was from a bargain brick in the freezer aisle. We were in the mood for ice cream, too, after swimming all afternoon! Shoulda held out for a DQ…

Inconvenient location (at the very end of east 3rd) but the ice cream is really tasty and they have lots of original flavors.
I suggest trying the cotton candy ice cream (which has pop rocks in it) or the monstrous strawberry shortcake.
