Just like all the other locations, Bloomingfoods out west within the Ivy Tech building is a great stop for local, natural, and organic products and produce. From toothpaste to coffee, they’ve got it all and it’s always fresh. They have many great brands you won’t find at Marsh or Kroger, and their deli serves fresh vegetarian and meat options that puts them on another level compared to other supermarkets. This tiny edition of the local stalwart does not make any revolutionary changes to the formula of the market & deli — this store’s utility is its location. You probably won’t be doing all your grocery shopping here, but if you work at one of the surrounding businesses or attend Ivy Tech, this place is an oasis in a desert of fast food. The lunches are great, and if you want a tasty snack, it’s a convenient option for chips, awesome sodas, or my favorite local coffee, Uel Zing, stop in. Prices aren’t bad, but you will pay a bit more for the quality and ingredients. Try the Caesar Wrap if you’re looking for lunch!
