Anytime Fitness

Great gym. Locally run by a great couple. Very modern equipment. Everything from free weights to machines and everything in between. I love the gym. In fairness, I’m not a member. I did their 30 day trial and would have absolutely joined if I were in town more often. The pricing is totally fair. Unfortunately, I travel between Chicago and Minneapolis often and there aren’t any Anytime Fitness locations in downtown Chicago. That’s the only reason I haven’t joined. This specific location may be one of the best gyms I’ve ever used. The only downside, there’s no area to drop off your kids. Some locations will, at a minimum, have a «use at your own risk» play area. I think this would help drive membership significantly. Additionally, some might be put off by not having personal trainers on site. I wasn’t.
