This store isn’t a big store so you won’t find overly cheap prices nor large selections but you will find a nice assortment of wines and craft beers in here as well as premium liquor. The owners are nice and willing to help. It would be nice to have a few more beer selections but the wine is the thing here.

More beers please! I debated between 4 and 3 stars… I always error on the high side ;) Very decent array of wines… lot’s of Malbecs– which is my «go-to» wine of choice currently. There is usually helpful, pleasant staff walking around ready to give advice or help find specific varieties. My husband is a beer connoisseur… he lives to find that new brew he hasn’t sampled yet. When I shop at Spring Wine and Spirits, he must settle for beers he has already tried. It doesn’t seem like they rotate the beers much or add any to the mix. Been frequenting this establishment for over a year now… let’s get an aggressive beer solution in da works people! Because of the beer situation I was seriously considering a «3 star» review… I do enjoy their occasional tastings they have in the store… I’ve just encountered the hard alcohol ones. Overall, it is a necessary evil as Caputo’s doesn’t sell alcohol and beer/wine is usually on our shopping list.

So much for boasting«Large selection of craft beers.» Ugh. While Spring Wine + Spirits has a handful of «I might not have heard of that beer» beers, they’re definitely lacking in some more common craft beers. I went in looking for some Delirium, and walked out with some Stella. Sad face.

This place isn’t Binny’s or Sal’s, but as I like to say, it’ll do in a pinch. And it is certainly better than some other Bloomingdale liquor store options(I’m looking at you, Pik N Go!). They’ve got a pretty decent price point range and selection of liquor and wine(you can get anything from a cheap $ 5 bottle of wine to fancy stuff over $ 50), and the beer selection isn’t too bad either. I can definitely find SOMETHING that I enjoy here. The employees here are nice but not TOO nice(in other words, they leave you alone to peruse at your leisure and don’t give you the«hurry up and buy» looks). I’m not sure if they readily make suggestions or have answers to your alcohol questions because I didn’t give the«may I help you riff»(is there a term for that in liquorville?) or ask any questions. All around, this is a decent place to buy some booze. If you’re not super picky.

Nice store to shop at. I believe this is also a Miska’s, from what I’ve heard. Not bad for you local liquor store. I’m a beer drinker, so I’ve never paid attention to wine or spirits in here. They do seem to specialize more on that though. The beer selection is not bad, but not good either(hence only 4 stars). They do have enough to please the average person though. The folks who work here are also very nice. Not alot of places these days greet you on the way in and wish you a good day on the way out. They do here. If ya need to make a quick beer run, this place will do. Remember folks, it’s not always about the product, but the service you’re provided.

They seem to have a very decent selection, but I admittedly tend to stay away from bottles over $ 20 unless I’m traveling and get a chance to sample the wine, bring it back as a souvenir, and save it for a special occasion. I was pleased to see they carry Grgich Hills; however, that’s the extent of their Slavic section. That winery, although run by a famous Croat and featuring Plavac Mali(Zinfandel), is located in California, so it’s a stretch of the imagination to call it Eastern European. Nothing else really grabbed me besides the Armenian pomegranate wine, but even that was priced a few dollars higher than Binny’s. The beer selection was a bit disappointing. As Adam M. pointed out, they don’t carry many micro-brews and I couldn’t find a hard cider to save my life. They did carry hard alcohol, but again it was more expensive than places like Foremost. They are the closest liquor store in the area, so I imagine many of their customers come to them to get specific wines or because of the convenience. I will probably come back to browse again and if I need an emergency bottle for BYOB. I can’t say I would go out of my way to return, which is saying a lot since I basically live down the street.

Great liquor store. I visited a friend in Bloomingdale and he recommended this to me. The older gentleman was very friendly and helpful. They’ve got a great selection of wine and spirits at good prices. Captain was on sale. Loses one star for not having many micro-brews. Really cool atmosphere. The top of the shelves have giant bottles(empty) of various spirits. They’ve got something for everyone: From your cheap 40 ounces of malt liquor to top notch scotch.
