I really like this Goodwill location! It is very convienently located for me, and I came for the first time a month or so ago and have been back one since then. Both trips were very pleasant and fruitful. Employees are friendly, and I have not seen it very busy where there is a line to check out. The store is very clean and fairly organized. Like most Goodwills and resale stores in general, the selection is completely hit or miss. There is definitely some digging and time required to find the treasures, but isn’t that half the fun?

This review is for the Goodwill in Bloomingdale, Illinois. The location(opened December 2014) is very convenient to drop off donations on the side of this newly renovated building which use to be a bookstore. From looking inside, it is nice and clean(fresh paint smell and everything). The prices were a bit overpriced as the previous Unilocaler noted. I’ve seen other items at other locations much lower. The manager thinks she is «high-class» and prices everything way above the normal«asking» price. She does have to realize all the items they do receive are donated. The quality of the new items are a rare find. The cashiers who are older ladies seem very nice and friendly and night cashier younger kids take over. Overall I give it a C rating, not good and not bad. If you’re bored and have nothing else to do check it out, otherwise don’t bother. There are better locations that have much higher quality items donated from Target, JCP and Kohls to name a few. Happy bargain hunting! All Goodwill locations accept Visa, MC and Discover cards.

I don’t find this Goodwill to be as exciting as other locations, but that could be because they are newer and haven’t had a chance to get a lot of cool things yet. We’ve been working hard to declutter and get rid of all excess objects in our home. The nearest Goodwills were in Bartlett and southeastern Glendale Heights, so this closer place is greatly appreciated. It’s going to be so much more convenient for dropping off donations, particularly since it’s on the way to and from the PetSmart that I visit weekly. We went in to see what they have to offer and I didn’t come across anything I couldn’t live without. They have a lot of clothes but the selection of other things seems limited. I think not many people know this place exists yet, so hopefully they’ll get more business. Perhaps it’s better I can’t find things I want to buy here, though.
