I’m happy I did NOT check the recent Unilocal reviews prior to our visit because then I would not have been able to have an open mind and an enjoyable meal. Unlike the previous review, our food was hot and tasty, and when the chef came over to us, she introduced herself and made sure we were taking care of. After our meal it was nice to get a game of pool in and have a cocktail with my boyfriend. The bartender was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning in the near future for lunch, maybe even bring my parents with us next time.

Stopped in for drinks & appetizers mid-​day, so it wasn’t busy. Waited 40 minutes for our order of chips w/​cheese. Another customer nearby who ordered steamers told the server they were cold; the «cook» came out and was snotty to that customer about it. Then the server told that customer that the reason they were cold was that there’s a broken window in the kitchen.

BEWARE All those 5 star reviews are from the last manager and Chef. It’s all changed. They’re looking for a COOK and there’s a new manager .’ a HUGE CHANGE there now, «WILD» yes. Too Wild.

Came here while hiking nearby and this was a great meal after an amazing work out. Had the bacon burger and the meat was fresh, juicy and cooked to perfection. The fries were very tasty. I’m most definitely coming back here again. So sad that it’s two hours away from me. everything is cooked fresh. Great burger!

We’ve been here a few times now and the food is always great. The place is nice and clean and they even have live music on Fridays and poker night on Thursdays. They are definitely worth the drive. If you’ve been to the Dutch’s bar in Rock hill, try this place instead.

Exceptionally friendly service and A-​OK roadside food. Salads were fresh, signature burger (a mushroom-​swiss on brioche) was great. Reminds me of taverns in Wisconsin, a real family feel that can get rowdy at night.
Looks like a fun place to imbibe — it had a full schedule of bands and entertainment on the weekends.

Exceptional food worth the drive from any distance. The steak melts in your mouth. The salad is so fresh. And the seafood bisque is to die for.

I found this place when I was coming back from Liberty and didn’t want to eat at the diner. Margie the bartender makes bloody Marys the are so good that I had to have a second. The Danish baby back ribs were great and the homemade fries were even better. Good spot and the prices are fair.

Stumbled into this place in its first day it served food… We ordered nachos, wings and the signature burger. All were great. The home made potato chips were my favorite.
