The Dominion House

Stayed here with my fiancé over President’s Day weekend and could not have had a better experience. Joe and Kathy are wonderful, heartwarming people who could not have made us feel more comfortable. We loved being able to use the hot tub at night, enjoyed the comfort of reading in the library and absolutely loved the fireplace. Joe had it roaring for us when we got home from dinner and we sat by it for hours on our last night there.
Breakfast was delicious every morning and quite abundant. Have already recommended to several friends!

Oh man what a way to be spoiled!!! On our weekend trip to NY to see Storm King (see my review) I decided to book a room for a night in this B&B. Awesome decision! My daughter and I loved it. Super clean, spacious interesting rooms, comfy beds, amazing hosts, killer breakfast, relax to the max, beautiful location, and easy to find. I don’t think I can ever stay in another hotel again.
Kathy and Joe Spear own the Dominion House and they are a lovely couple. They go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and happy. Be sure to bring your swim suits because they have an indoor hot tub and a beautiful outdoor swimming pool. Big spacious wraparound porch with rocking chairs so you can watch sunset or sunrise.
Our country breakfast started off with several small warm raspberry scones –so evil and tasty. Yummy rolled up omelets with just the right amount of bacon, cheese, and herbs. Toast, fruit, juice, and individual pots of tea and hot chocolate complete the meal. Sit down at the table and breakfast just starts to show up. How frickin cool is that???
Hungry later on, no problem help yourself to the 24 hour snack station. Usually stocked with homemade cookies or muffins and coffee or tea.
Dominion House is easy to find yet tucked away in the countryside. Great off season rates in the Spring. I love it here!
