I would give them a 1 star if their food wasn’t so good. Don’t expect great service, specifically over the phone. The host on the phone is rarely more competent than a kindergartener. They have a delivery policy that if it is under 30 dollars they wont deliver(understandable). However, we ordered from them and our total was 28 dollars and our apartment is LITERALLY across the street and they said they couldn’t do it. I would have just offered to walk down and get it myself but I opted to take my business elsewhere. This incident pissed me off, so I decided that I would try a couple more times just to see if they were more accommodating. Out of four different people, only one allowed us to deliver — wow. Every time they did this I decided to go to another restaurant. I’d estimate they’ve lost probably 200 dollars of my business. Today was the last straw, fully expecting that there would be some issue with our order, I decided to call and was immediately put on hold. After a couple of minutes the phone is picked up and a person says«Who are you holding for?»… Ummm… «To order?» Without a word I am put back on hold. about 3 more minutes goes by and my phone cuts off — they hung up on me. Look, I generally give restaurants the benefit of the doubt. I realize occasionally you have a bad day, but I have given this place a dozen tries and the customer service is just terrible. LikeI said, the food is good but don’t expect to be treated like a paying customer. Management should probably invest in some better hosts as well as a dedicated order person for the phone line.

Only ate here once so far. Decent food, quesadilla was crispy and cheesy. I ordered it with onions but there was too many on there and would have been better if they were sautéed more first. Excellent guac too

I prefer this Mexican Resturant than el matador. They have more flavor. I love the steak burrito it’s good for 2. The chips and sala are addicting. The chicken quesadilla are good. The bar area has happy hour for drinks and appetizer. Their surf and turf is also good. The bartenders there are very good especially gonzo. The owner Ricky always comes out to check on how things are going to make sure your happy and not just another number. All of their drinks are made well.

I love this place. To say love is an understatement. I first visited this restaurant when I moved to Bloomfield during Restaurant week and fell in love with the Arroz con Pollo immediately. I met the bartenders there that night. They make some of the best mojitos and margaritas I’ve ever tasted. The staff never let me feel like I am not a priority. They check in regularly to see if we need anything or if there is an issue with anything. The owner takes pride in his establishment and walks around actually engaging the customers and really tries to get a feel/feedback from them to see what they can improve on. I moved out to NYC for the past 2 years and I still manage to come back at least once a month to visit because this truly is my FAVORITE restaurant. If you want good food, good drinks, and an atmosphere that is very welcoming, this is the place for you. PS: My favorite dish, Tacos Al Carbon with Steak… if you like a spicy kick, these tacos are the one for you. Delicious to the last bite!

So much better to go there and dine in than deliver! Service at the restaurant is cool. Food is on point! Delivery is kinda hit or miss! Has a skirt steak that was surprisingly good, especially for delivery! But the burritos and tacos were bad! Didn’t understand how they were dried up and soggy! Nonetheless, food at the spot is solid!

Food was ok. Our waitress was horrible. We all ordered chimichanga’s but 2 shrimp and 3 chicken 1 steak. When it came out the orders were all mixed up. One girl is allergic to shrimp and one is lactose intolerant. The lactose girl had cheese in her’s and the allergic girl almost ate the shrimp. when the waitress finally came back to our table we told her what happened, she did not offer to replace the lactose girls food. she just asked us if we were able«to figure it out» no apology or anything!!! She then had the nerve to charge us an 18% gratuity which is illegal in New Jersey. please inform your staff that they need to be more considerate with allergies and intolerance God forbid if something seriously happened.

My boyfriend Manny and I got here early for a birthday dinner on Sunday night, so we got some margaritas and chips with guac at the bar while we waited. Our bartender, Lilliana, was nice. She made our specialty and mango margaritas — both really good! Their guac is tasteless; nothing special. But the presentation is cute. We met up with our party of 11 and our server, Nicco, was so great! He was super nice and really efficient. And the management was kind enough to give us 3 plates of nachos and all our desserts on the house! Not sure if it was for my cousin’s birthday or the manager just really liked our table, but regardless, it was so kind!!! The food though… eh. Manny didn’t like the Carne Asada, but the nachos and yucca fries were okay. I had the Enchilada de Costilla. The enchilada itself was delicious and packed with meat but it was dry. It comes with rice and beans — the rice tasted hard and the black beans were meh. I ordered the tres leches cake for dessert, and it tasted like it’s been sitting around for days. The middle was dry, and the cake wasn’t very sweet at all. Overall — Service and management: 5⁄5 stars. Margaritas: 5⁄5 stars. Food: 2⁄5 stars

I originally made a reservation for 7:45 on a Saturday but they were able to accommodate us when we arrived around 6:45. It is nicely decorated with vibrant colors. They have a small parking lot but we parked on the street with no problem. I had the coconut mojito and my boyfriend had the Pineapple Express. They were both delicious. We ordered one chicken empanadas for appetizer as well as the table side guacamole. The girl who did the guacamole was extremely friendly. They also give you complimentary chips and salsa for your table, even if you don’t order an appetizer. I had the Chipotle steak and he had the Carne Asada. They were both good, but not excellent. Mine was surprisingly not spicy at all. I think if they kicked up the spice a little it would make the food more memorable. The waitress was attentive and funny. The only complaint I do have is the steak knives. They are extremely dull. I actually couldn’t even cut my steak with my original knife, and was borrowing my boyfriends, which wasn’t much better. When I requested another it was just as bad. Hopefully they invest in a few new ones.

I’m surprised at people’s reviews. I spent my 21st birthday here, got veggie quesadillas, and it has been my favorite Mexican restaurant ever since! Had my first legal drink here, which I thought was delicious. Senioritas never disappoints! Ordered a platter for a potluck and it was a hit! They also gave me so many extra things! Service is great as well, which really makes a huge difference. I would go more often if I didn’t live so far! Unfortunately for me, there are some embarrassing photos of me drinking my first legal drink in their sombrero! Wasn’t flattering to my face.

I have been waiting to try this place out for a while, and my wait paid off. This is a pretty good place to grab some Mexican food with a classy ambiance. I came for a late lunch, so I can’t speak for it when it’s busy, but I really liked the décor with the large Señorita mural on the wall. There was a fairly large menu selection so I had to go with the Mexican comobo to get a little bit of variety. For $ 15 it was a huge amount of food. Enough for 2 meals, although it may be nice if they offered a smaller portion. Or maybe they did and it was in the back somewhere. I think the burrito was the winner out of the three, but I still enjoyed the taco and enchilada. The taco could have used a little sour cream, but that’s a minor complaint. This was the nicest looking building on the block because of the new apartments being built across the street from it. It’s a nice place to visit and easily the nicest place on the block until the new restaurants get built. I will definitely be back!

This place is shockingly bad: From tasteless guacamole to terrible listless service to ridiculously overly sweet drinks(despite us requesting our drinks to NOT be sweet) to the entire restaurant smelling of mothballs.(The stench is overwhelming in the women’s restroom– it almost made me feel high). Which begs the question: why the hell do they NEED mothballs? Gross. The quality of this place falls well below that of Taco Bell & yet is priced like it is a decent restaurant. Avoid at all costs.

This place is popular in the evenings and on the weekends but certainly not for the food which is okay at best. I went for lunch during the week. I expected cheesy Mexican but it wasn’t even good cheesy Mexican food. The prices are reasonable($ 9 hearty lunch special) mostly because they can’t justify charging much more. Don’t order the tamales! I would return for the drink specials and the atmosphere is nice. Side note: they have a weird version of a chimichanga that isn’t bad for what it is.

Authentic, fresh salsa. The mole for my enchiladas was on the money. I was anticipating another waste of money, as Mexican places in Jersey tend to be as bad as the attempts at BBQ in the Garden State. The enchiladas were steaming and seasoned. The only miss was the guacamole, because it was a bit watery. Otherwise, I will be back for tacos. I ordered delivery, but I intend to go sit down next time.

I had no idea this place existed, it’s tucked away in a little side street off Bloomfield ave… but when I stumbled upon it I was pleasantly surprised. I went for lunch and got the chicken fajitas for $ 8 which came with rice and beans. Portion was massive. Also had a side of yucca fries and they were super yummy along with the dipping sauce they came with. Overall I enjoyed my meal and the service was great. I wouldn’t give it 4 stars because outside the lunch menu, the prices were a little steep in my opinion. But definitely check it out for lunch.(El Cheapo Luncho is totally worth it) I was bummed I forgot to check into Unilocal to get my 10% off! Don’t forget!

Looking for a place to remedy my craving for Mexican Food, I stumbled upon Senioritas. I came about an hour and a half before closing time but the service was still welcoming and helpful. I ordered the Mexican combo: 1 taco, 1 Burritto, 1 enchilada. The rice and beans on the side weren’t too bad, just not heavily seasoned. The top of the taco was crunchy but the entire bottom was soggy from the other items so mine was eaten with a fork. The enchilada and burrito tasted identical. Not bad, but couldn’t taste a difference. Came with warm chips and salsa I couldn’t stop eating. Might try again. Probably would order something else next time. The Unilocal 10% off definitely helps! Go Unilocal

I have been to señoritas a few times now, each time was during happy hour. I’ve ordered steak entrees which were good in flavor, but I wouldn’t say«authentic» Mexican cuisine — of course it came with the standard of rice and refried or black beans.(I personally always order the black beans). Today I stopped in with a couple people and ordered the chicken nachos — they are a happy hour special for only $ 5, and you can’t go wrong with that portion! The chicken was tender and tasty. The drinks were also well poured and not too sweet. The Unilocal deal was also a + for 10% off your check, so that definitely was a great find! Parking isn’t too great in the area — there is a small lot behind, but you can only fit about 10 cars. Overall this is a decent spot to sit and have a couple drinks with friends.

I made an order for deliver thru Unilocal… Turns out the restaurant had already stopped taking delivery ordered before the time I ordered(8pm). Once I was told this, I just figured I would have to pick up the food. The host put me on hold and came back saying they would make the exception to complete the delivery… I THANKYOU! That’s the customer service that creates fans!
