Have stopped here dozens of times on my commute back to home. I basically stick to the music CDs and the audiobooks. Prosser has a smaller CD collection than Simsbury, but has all the major genres –pop, blues, jazz, classical, world, and a rap or hip-hop section. I stopped in today and checked out a fairly new Earth, Wind & Fire greatest hits collection. Great CD, so many cool songs I had forgotten. Their audiobook collection seems a lot deeper than their music collection. I’ve taken out dozens of audiobooks to enjoy during my commute. It’s a real nice asset for the community, I always see a lot of students there in the afternoon when I stop in after work. They have a childrens dept on the first floor, and everything else is on the 2nd floor. As a previous Unilocaler has mentioned, the staff here is super nice. Whenever I visit Prosser, I never leave empty-handed.

The nicest staff. I swear that every nice school librarian you ever had in middle school works here! The Blu-ray and DVD collection is sick if you can’t wait for Netflix. I don’t live in this town anymore, but I do stop by to check it out when I roll through town. They also hVe great event programming here as well.

This has got to be one of the smallest libraries I’ve been to, but I have to say that I love it, especially if you are going to school in the area and hate going to the Hartford or West Hartford branches. They also always have used books for sale in the front of the library for $.50-$ 1.00. Gotta love cheap books!
