I recently moved to the neighborhood and I have passed this restaurant twice while wandering aimlessly through the area, but I never went inside. The stars however, were aligned tonight :) I passed by tonight and checked out the menu. As I looked over it, I found burgers, sandwiches, etc and then I saw«legume,» after that I saw«akra.» I was really happy to not only have a Haitian restaurant nearby, but one that offered more than Haitian food. I was met by two very polite people who walked me through the options for the evening. The place is clean and there seems to be enough space for a small group(20 – 25) and the staff was very welcoming. I didn’t stay to eat, but instead took it home. The food was still hot and it was cooked well; I had the griot, plantains and djon djon rice. The servings were generous(I have food for dinner tomorrow). I’ll definitely go back…

The food here is very delicious and authentic. There are no other restaurants in there area that provides a combination of bold Caribbean flavors. I highly recommend the fish.
