KFC

A friend and I decided to have lunch here and we had to get up and leave! This place was the most ghetto establishment I have ever been to! This place was filthy! Yuck! I refuse to order anything from here. I just turned around and walked out the door! They were rude to the people that I was with and I refuse to pay for rude service!!!

Listen when the craving for the Colonel hits you’ve gotta get some KFC. Thankfully there’s one in Bloomfield. It’s located at the same plaza as CVS and have been there since I was a kid. Don’t argue with me because I went to Watsessing elementary school and I remember when they first built this place. It is amazing how long it has stood the test of time but I guess people really like KFC in this area. I usually order their family bucket meal. Original is too blah for me and I usually go for the crispy. Leave the grilled for some other time. Side of coleslaw, mac and cheese, potato wedges, and mashed potatoes with gravy makes for a great family meal with extra portions left over for next day. They also throw in some free drinks and/​or cakes during special promotions. But, a big one at that, the food is too salty even for a KFC and they don’t have a place to sit and eat. So take-​out is the only choice. Also the place doesn’t look to clean either. Whatever… it’s still finger-​lickin-​good.

Cashier had an attitude and even told me she doesn’t sell crispy chicken. Seriously???

I honestly wish I could give this location zero stars. This KFC is absolutely horrible and disgusting. First of all, when you go to enter this establishment, the door is always dirty and the glass is always filled with greasy fingerprints, I almost want to pull out a napkin before grabbing a hold of the door handle. Once you’re inside, you are welcomed by loud and obnoxious rap music that is uncensored — seriously, I am not lying. I am sure that if the head of KFC walked in, they would literally croak upon entering. The employees are always extremely rude, impatient, and the farthest away from professional. To be honest, they all look like they want to jump over the counter and choke their customers, they are that high-​strung for no reason. Lastly, the food is always awful. The chicken is doused in grease, the potato wedges are burnt, and everything else looks like it’s been sitting there since Nelly was popular. Oh– last tip– good luck getting any decent pieces of chicken after 7pm, because it seems like all they have at that time is the remains of Colonel Sanders himself. STAY AWAY! FAR AWAY!

The chicken here is really amazingly good: I haven’t found better in the area. The place is pretty downscale in appearance, the staff isn’t always that polite, but this is my first choice for inimitably spiced fried chicken. Thier new flavored fries are excellent too! People don’t seem to understand that just because a food is cheap and mass-​produced doesn’t mean it isn’t really good. I prefer it to Urban Chicken, which is also excellent, but doesn’t have the herbs and spice in the batter, and just isn’t so doggone tasty.

I moved to Bloomfield from Charlotte, NC. I received some coupons in the mail and I decided to go to this KFC. The food is great, but it it take-​out only.
