Food is Yummy and service is great! They have gluten free rice noodles so I absolutely enjoyed the soup bowl! Will be regulars here! Lived the pickled salted lemonade! So refreshing !

Still good but seems like their business is booming, It used to be all-Asian customers but now I see more diversity in customers, and more waiters. If you go Friday night, you may need to wait for table(not that bad). After years of Phở, Bun, other noodles, I discovered their sweet and sour soup with salmon, it was out of the world delicious. It has okra, tomato, pineapple in clear soup, sounds unexpected combination. I was busy making«umnnn» noise.

I live like 2 blocks away from this place so I’m a regular here. I love the house combination phở I always get atleast a Large. Their pork chops are savory and cooked just right. They also have spring rolls that come out with an orange ginger dipping sauce that is just perfect. A must try is their taro dessert and their avocado milkshake. The fresh lend ode is also good on a hot day! Their prices are affordable and their portion sizes are decent. Definitely a hidden gem, although the service is a hit and miss. That’s the only reason I didn’t give them a 5.

I’ve been trying to find a good Viet place to eat out at because when you’re in Jersey, your choices are very limited. I came here based on the great reviews and I thought the food was just very mediocre. It could be because I didn’t get the phở, I don’t know? But I ordered the Bön Bo Hue which is my favorite Vietnamese dish and I thought the meat(the pork) did not taste fresh at all. I also ordered the Thai tea to drink which was good but nothing special — just like any other place. Parking could be a little challenging even though it’s in a lot. The parking lot is shared with other businesses and it’s small. I came here on a weekday night and had to wait for parking. Upon walking in, the restaurant was popping! The restaurant itself is pretty small and there is no décor. This place is definitely a hole in the wall; people definitely just come here for the food. I came here with just one of my friends and we were seated at a 6 person table because that was the only available table. In the middle of our dinner, one of the staff members asked us if it was okay if 2 other people sat at the same table as ours. We didn’t mind this, but I just wanted to let you all know that this place can get cramped! Would I come back? I’m not dying to come back but if I did, I would definitely try another dish, probably the phở. If you like to eat Bön Bo Hue, I personally like it better at Saigon Phở in Parsippany. Service was quick which is always a good thing. It’s probably better to come here earlier because it gets busier later on in the night. FYI — credit card minimum is $ 15.

Well, it looks like this place cleaned up its act and remodeled. The food especially the phở is outstanding. All the food is always consistently fresh and tasty and the service is quick. The take out is also well packaged and fresh. So far the place seems clean and taken care of. Once again this is my go to Vietnamese and phở spot.

My friend recommended this spot on a rainy Monday and it did not disappoint. I believe it’s been recently renovated, so the place does not have much in the way of décor — but make no mistake, the speed of service and quality/price of the food more than make up for any problems you might find with the décor. I got the summer rolls to start off, and they were solid(peanut sauce that compliments it is the best part). Then had the beef phở. Amazing. Try starting it off with just some lime, basil and chili, and then towards the middle add the red chili sauce(the one that isn’t sriracha. Really amazing food for the price!

Its an A-mazing place. They recently renovated which makes the restaurant look more lovely and their bathroom much cleaner. I give it 5 stars because I’ve been coming here for a year and the food never ceases to amaze me. I try to order something different every time but I always end up getting the shrimp nest for appetizer and the Taro and sweet rice dessert. These two things are a MUST try. I also suggest the coconut water drink because it is natural and has CHUNKS of coconut inside or the avocado smoothie for my avocado lovers! I will say though, if you have are a picky person when it comes to food be aware that Vietnamese food tastes very different because of their use of mint and peanuts. I had a hard time at first eating the house Phở but now its a regular item I must have with my meal(ordering the small size of course). The portions are large and the prices are cheap for the quality of food you are getting. Definitely a jewel hidden in between Belleville and Bloomfield.

This is a first ever — an updated review! I had not returned here for awhile but noticed the uptick in star rating and decided to give it a go. So glad I did. Ordered the spring rolls(you get 5 instead of the usual 4 at other restaurants — yum), vermicelli bowl with grilled pork(the grilled pork was plentiful, lean and just plain tasty), the large phở with flank(flank was lean; noodles were plentiful I heard; the soup savory & the bite I had was good), and the sticky rice with taro & warm coconut milk(the one I wanted was out and that was a favor because this was delicious — will be ordering this again). The service was great — the employee was more than happy to answer my food questions and recommended the taro sticky rice dessert. Can’t say whether there is a change or not in the previously reviewed items because different items were ordered this time around. Will return.

Ordered the friend spring rolls and the phở with the beef on the side. Very good. I will definitely be coming back to this place. The food came out quick, the place is spotless, and even though it was pretty busy I was seated fairly quickly.

My wife and I recently tried Binh Duong which I believe was in a Unilocal email about Phở which is one of my favorite dishes. All in all we had a nice, inexpensive and tasty dinner. Ambience: The restaurant is kind of divey and the space is a little cramped. Food: The dishes we had were pretty damn good. I ordered a Beef Flank Phở and my wife ordered some chicken, vegetable and rice dish which was well made and tasty. Value: My Phở I believe was $ 8.95 and my wife’s dish was under $ 10 so all in all great value for the tasty, generously portioned food we received. Service: Okay. The restaurant isn’t fancy but when we needed service we received it. Location: Strip mall with a decent sized parking lot.

I’m so happy I listened to these reviews. The food is great and taste really fresh. Thank goodness I came when the bathroom was clean too. I had the avocado shake as someone suggested and yes I love it. I love avocados anyway so I had to try it. I also had the spring rolls, delicious ! No complaints. And for the first I tried PHO soup. I got the chicken. I really like the broth, scallions, onions and noodles. The chicken by itself is a lil dry but when you mix it with everything else it’s a delicious bite! My only complaint is the parking lot and store front need some serious sprucing up. That’s it! I’ll be back!

All is have to say is their Phở is beyond amazing! The broth is perfect and full of flavor not salty like other places. They provide you with fresh basil, rice noodles, lime, onions, and jalapeños. Once you submerge all of the fresh ingredients to your broth you’ll understand why I say it’s the BEST Phở you’ll have around the area. Another great item on the menu is the vermicelli with grilled pork. Sounds simple but again packed with flavor. You’ll just have to try it for yourself because it is unexplainable. Their spring roll into is just scrumptious hands down the best spring roll I’ve had. Their dipping sauce is amazing as well very refreshing. Their veggie crêpe is very light, fluffy, & crispy on the outside. I would recommend ordering this as a side to just try because it is not very filling. All in all I feel like everything that I have tried so far has been delicious! Tip: avoid coming during lunch & dinner time as the place gets pretty packed or just place an order to go!

A great lunch option if you’re looking for a delicious, hearty meal without breaking the bank. Started with the summer rolls which were extremely fresh accompanied by a sweet peanut sauce. I’ve tried both the beef and shrimp phở, and both are delicious. The broth is very flavorful, and you have the option of adjusting the flavor to meet your preferences(i.e. bean sprouts, jalapeño, lime, chili sauce, hot sauce, sweet sauce. etc…). Seems like they have something for everyone so can’t really go wrong.

Excellent Vietnamese food in the heart of Essex County, amazing. The food is authentic, delicious and really fresh. The Phở is really great. I’ve had the Phở with grilled pork chops(2), you can’t beat the price either, $ 8.50 for a huge bowl of soup with a side dish of two thinly cut pork chops that are seasoned to perfection. All the dishes I’ve had here are fantastic, the Lemongrass Beef over vermicelli, the spring rolls, summer rolls, all amazing and price is really phenomenal. The restaurant is also packed with Vietnamese people, which is an excellent indicator of the authenticity and quality. There’s a fantastic Chinese bakery across the way in the same shopping center, I suggest you check that out too, bring home some dessert after. Can’t go wrong here, try everything, check the photos here if you’re unfamiliar with the cuisine.

**Review for the phở only** I stopped by this phở spot frequently when I was working in Clifton, NJ with co-workers. Friendly people and good phở! My co-workers used to try other things with rice and they all liked the food as well. I think this place is one of the best around NJ.

Great tasting phở for a great price. Their spring rolls and jackfruit shake are delicious too, and everything comes out very quickly even when they’re busy. I deducted a star because the restaurant seems really dirty and the wait staff is far from attentive. Note: Credit card minimum is $ 15.

I’ve been here a few times with my dad for phở. It’s right next to an Asian grocery store which is what brings us to the area. FOOD: I’ve had the Summer Spring rolls, which are pretty good but their peanut sauce is more of a hoisin sauce with some crushed peanuts in it. I’ve only ever had phở otherwise, which is good when you’re craving phở but not super duper incredible. Broth could use a bit more flavor and the House Combo XL phở I got(#28) didn’t come with much meat and only one type. Maybe they skimped on variety of messed up my order that day. SERVICE: Basically awful. The servers don’t check on you or ask for your order, you have to flag them down. Maybe that’s because I look white. Also for 3 orders of phở they only gave us one plate of bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeños, and lime. When I asked for more they didn’t bring lime and charged an extra $ 2. TIPS: BYOB. Can get busy during winter dinner time.

I LOVEPHO. It completes me. All the times I’ve visited Jersey, I’ve found myself dining here. Their herbal broth is aromatic, flavorful, and always manages to bring me back to life after a long night of debauchery. Jokes aside, this place is as authentic as it is delicious. They are generous with their portions and the service has always been quick and super friendly. Their café sua da has(Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk) the perfect balance of coffee strength and creaminess. They also serve other Vietnamese dishes such as spring rolls, vermicelli bowls, but I come for the phở. This place doesn’t disappoint!

There was a decent crowd here last night but a fair amount of seating though it looks small and plain on the outside since its part of a strip mall. The waiters/resses do well describing the dishes to you and accomodate what you ask, as I wanted my entrée extra spicy. They could’ve been a bit more observant in keeping our waters full, but no biggie since its byob here. I had the Ga xao sa ste chicken with extra spice though I still had to use some of the pepper sauce at the table to turn it up more. The chicken slices were flavorful and onions and rice mixed in made it a nice filling meal so the portions are just about right. I had the thai iced tea to drink and it was ok it tasted alittle to creamy and milky, but not bad. The spring roll was average and the soup bowls are nicely portioned as well. Another thing i like is the nicely lit atmosphere, always a bonus for me.
