Little Daddy’s

I’ve been eating here quite a while and it takes quite a bit to make me irritated. They’re food is inconsistent on quality and taste. The service had been quite good until a few months ago, when that became very inconsistent as well. This last time I was there, a young woman was told to wait on me. I told her I usually get the special for breakfast. She looked at me and let me know she had never heard of a special before. Huh??? Do these people even get trained? Obviously not, because it got worse. 20 minutes later I’m served and my food is almost cold. She doesn’t bring the toast and says she’ll be right back with that. Instead, she walks outside to take her break. So I finish eating and after her 15 minute break she asks me if I’m ready for the bill. I did let her know I still hadn’t gotten my toast and I said no as I usually eat it with the rest of my meal. There are too many restaurants around to go back there again.

We usually enjoy this location, and appreciate table top coffee pot. Today (Sunday) we were served hard pancakes twice; sent the first ones back, 2^nd not any better, and overcooked eggs, yolks were hard on bottom, whites chewy. Now, I understand that it’s hard to always be spot on continously but it was infuriating when the manager walked by and said «how is everything?» and when I opened my mouth to say we weren’t pleased he shrugged and didn’t even stop. Then, the next three times he circled he would turn his head he seems pretty useless, ignoring multiple issues. Basically the cook staff is cooking as they desire as opposed to quality. Cleaning as they want as opposed to doing what needs to be done. If they are going to charge $ 3.00 more for an omlette then other restaurants you should expect clean water glasses, windows, booths, table tops, cutlery, ceiling vents, floors… I do appreciate the service from the waitress as she accommodated a special request and checked on us often, very friendly.

So I’ve driven by this place for years but never tried it. So one night my kids decided to go with me to try it.
We were seated in a decent booth. The place looks okay with fresh décor. The first issue was that it took a while for a server to even show up to the table. When the first work out of her mouth is sorry, it’s so bad she even knows it.
Then it takes a while for the return back to the table to take our orders. Once we ordered, it still took forever for our food. Over 25 min. Still not here. That’s when I decided to start on this review. No food yet. Just service experience. Oh food is coming. Will continue after I eat…
So I’m finished. Will probably be able to finish this review before the next visit by the server. I ordered the perch. The fish was good. Not dry. Decent portion for perch. I had two sides. Broccoli and roasted Brussels sprouts. I get 2 sides, but they charge an extra $ 1 for 2 veggies. Weird. I guess fries are cheaper to serve. The broccoli was okay. The roasted Brussels sprouts would more accurately be called dehydrated sprouts since they were roasted to a point where it was crispy all the way through.
My son ordered a side salad. It came out the same time as his spaghetti. My daughter ordered scrambled egg whites. Guess what? Them eggs were yellow when she brought them! And I had repeated twice it should be egg whites only when we ordered. She also ordered a side of onion rings. Guess what. They never came. We canceled that. Then I see the bill and she double charged me for the $ 1 veggie! Comedy of errors. Yes this was all in one visit. I’m not making it up. I have two witnesses.
So as you can tell by the tone and detail, I was not impressed. Didn’t expect a fancy place but also didn’t expect such slow and bad service.
As we walked out I looked at some tables that weren’t bussed yet. The credit card slips had $ 0 tip on 2 of them. Chronic. I actually tipped 20% because I felt bad for the server to be so scared of her manager that she wouldn’t ask for a bill adjustment of $ 1. You could hear the stress in her voice. Don’t give them your business.

This was terrible! The staff was mean and my burger was raw. They didn’t fix it! Never go here!

If you value your life, don’t eat here. I truly believe I was intentionally food poisoned. Don’t do it — you will be sorry. Rude waitstaff and management. This is the most awful place I have ever been too. No one wants to listen to rap music when they are eating, no one wants to hear smart a** comments coming from the kitchen. This establishment needs to be inspected by the Oakland county health department!

Great for carry out !! I called in my order for myself and a co-​worker they were bagging it up as I walked in, perfectly hot Grecian pitas perfection. there was a variety of options for salads, and we truly both loved the DILL added into the Tommy Salad. I love that they have Quinoa as a protein option — it’s really great for vegetarians or people who like super foods on their salad. It was also cool to add sliced almonds.
I love coming here also for breakfast, the staff is always friendly, the parking is easy in and out access from Woodward ave.
There really are an overwhelming amount of options — but at the same time you are grateful for the options. it’s a bit of a toss up! if you go in with a plan like your mind is probably going to change, that is why I find it is easiest to carry out !

The food is decent and the service is good. It’s more of your local Coney Island diner.

I eat lunch here often and I always am very pleased with the food. The staff is very friendly and are careful to follow any special instructions. I love the Maurice Salad and the Middle Eastern Wrap, but this is also a fantastic place for an omelets and hash browns!

My family and I frequent this place quite often as the food is good and reasonably priced. The servers are always attentive and make us feel at home. The building is updated so the interior is warm and appealing as well. Good atmosphere and centrally located in Bloomfield. I love the coffee as I feel a great breakfast should include a smooth coffee. It is as important as the meal itself. Enjoy this place and will keep it on my fail safe list for morning dinning!!!
Delightful Diner

Super Dirty tables, slow motion kitchen… The food is very low on the scale of 10. great part, our waitress was super nice.

I really enjoyed my time here, and was satisfied with the overall experience. For whatever reason, I had a hard time placing this in one style category. The menu came off as more expensive coney, but the interior felt Ram’s Horn-​ish. Not that I think it’s bad, because it’s not, but I thought it was a little more upscale in my head prior to my first time here.
I went with one of the breakfast specials for $ 4. It was the eggs, hash browns and pancakes since it was a great combo deal since I couldn’t seem to make up my mind. My mom went with the same thing, and we both really loved our food. Service was awesome, and we had a really good time here. It sure beat other places around town, so I would come back again in the future when on this side of town.
I gave it a solid 3 stars because I wasn’t blown away, but I wasn’t disappointed either. It was good, but that’s about it. Service really made the difference, and I’m willing to come back in the future to try other items.

My boyfriend and I love coming here for breakfast. They have so many options, the coffee is good, and the service is friendly and quick. I’ve tried a couple different breakfast items, but I really love Cheif Keith’s Egg White Omelette. We have come here for dinner, as well. They have a HUGE menu with a variety of options that you can’t find at other Coney Island Restaurants.

This place was packed which proved it was great food! Our waitress named Eden was awesome with suggesting dishes since it was our first trip. The food was great, the portions were fairly large, and the prices were good also.

Little Daddy’s.The best place for a huge variety of all sorts of meals and awesome prices. I love the place, everyone there treats you like family .they even come to remember what your favorites are. It was recently redecorated and now the inside is like brand new, fun fresh and a great place to eat.
Chef Keith has created some of most wonderful dishes and he is ‘Top Chef’ in the kitchen. Because of all my experience eating there… And I go very often. for both eat in and carry out… I have started using them for catering. Their catering menu is immense and they know how to prepare and deliver the menu items to your event promptly and ready to go. Thinking of catering an event? Decent diner when you’re in a pinch. Nothing will really knock your socks off.
We will probably go back for breakfast. The menu is huge!!! Lots of options, add ons and salads.

we decided to stop here for dinner tonight but should have kept going… The place is not appealing at all! the grass hasnt been mowed, the building is falling apart, and it has an old lingering slight smell to the place. The menu is way way to extensive for the impatient server we had so i just ordered a triple decker with fries. should have read what they put on it, i havent ate kraft american «cheese» in decades! We left pontiac to eat here but pontiac has nicer restaurants than this!

This spot has many options on the menu :) even though I only got carry out, the hostess was very helpful and friendly :) the food was great as well!!!

Place is better than its reviews. Omelette are huge! Great place for a quick breakfast.

Top 5 Breakfast places in Detroit in terms of a great, good old-​school breakfast place.
Friendly staff, quick service, food is outstanding (love the Greek omelet) and you gotta get the Saganaki regardless of time of day.

Some coworkers ordered and picked up the food, so I can’t comment on the décor as I didn’t go in, but i can tell you that the Tommy Salad will make you a believer.
At first I had no idea what to expect as no one would tell me what I was about to eat, and had I known I’d never have tried it as I don’t typically like greek salads or wraps, but this was incredible.
The portion was enormous, the dressing was delicious, and the fresh dill in the salad made all of the other ingredients pop. I felt incredibly full and satisfied about half way through the salad, so it’s definitely enough to fill a hungry person up.
Give the Tommy a whirl!
