It is a very decent place. I go there every week and it may not be worth the 5 start but definitely much better than the 2 start it has now. That is the reason for the review.

Horrible service. They don’t answer the phone. Went inside to place an order rude cashier. Don’t patronize this dump. If I could give less than one star I would.

What kind of Thai restaurant FORGETS to add spices??? BOTH times I’ve ordered from here I ordered it Medium; I get home, which is a good 15 mins away, to find NO spices ATALL!!’ The second time I ordered I even asked for a side of hot stuff just in case they screwed up again… guess what?!? They FORGOT my side of hot stuff ANDAGAINNOSPICES!!! I’m talking 0, zilch, NOTHING but greasy noodles!!! The portions for the price? A JOKE! I thought maybe I got the lunch version until I looked at my bill for 17 bucks! WHY doesn’t corporate DOSOMETHINGABOUT one of their restaurants(that is in an UPSCALE area) that consistently gets bad reviews and continues to charge ridiculous amounts for the portions!!! The food itself was ok, but when you get stuff that’s so close to burnt that you can’t believe they actually gave it to a customer, and the order is wrong 2 for 2!!! I won’t go back here again, which means I have to drive further every week, but it’s better than paying for half of what I get everywhere else, AND they understand what MEDIUMMEANS!!!

This place sucks! Progressively gets worse every visit. They never have any flavors for bubble drinks and the portions have gotten smaller. I pay for a dinner sized portions but still get lunch sized amounts. Today was the last time I eat here.

I have been routinely going to their Sterling Heights location growing up and this is the first time I’ve had food at this location. We used a groupon and that indicates to me that this place doesn’t get much business on weeknights. That was confirmed when we got there. Probably two other families were there. Portions are always generous and the soup is great. Service is a little lax so I think that’s not entirely excusable especially since they’re not busy. I ordered Kow Pad Poung Garee(Chicken Fried Rice with Onion and Eggs) with a medium spice. For me, it was a little hot to handle. My mother ordered a Gang Dang medium spice which she said was a little sweeter than usual. Both were otherwise ok. This seems more like café than the restaurant-eque setting in Sterling Heights. Still, a place worth going especially if you have a groupon.

Update: we no longer order carry out from here. The food has gone down in quality once again and I had an incident where I went in to try to order food and was treated like a Dope by the crew. The cashier stepped out and the crew just stared at me and pretended to be deaf or something. I won’t be back.

It’s hard to dislike a place that uses Groupon but I’m guessing they use Groupon because… chicken and egg — chicken and egg. Mine was about to expire so I took a bit longer drive than usual for lunch. As I was waiting for Jess B, the waitress said that it is only good at lunch. I told her I’d go somewhere else for lunch and maybe come back later or lose the 10 dollars I spent(Poor me). She said that I can use it as long as we order dinner portions, which is fair and kind of her. I ordered Vietnamese rolls while I was waiting and they are actually pretty good for what they are — lots of chicken and seasoned well. We ordered a deep friend sweet and sour chicken dish and Pad Ped. The Pad Ped was fine, nothing bad or amazing. This place is light handed on spices. I ordered medium and it was very mild. Jess B took a bite of her chicken and was finished. Me — «How is it?» Her«IT’s OK» which in the world of dating means. It’s not good and lets move on. I tried it and had to agree with her, not really that good. However, the rest of the meal is fine. Chalk it up to ordering what appears to be non traditional Thai food. End of the day — stick with something in their wheel house and this place is a reasonable option.

Food is on par with something that you would get in the freezer section at the grocer. Soup was cold and food is overpriced. Do yourself a favor and pass this one up.

We’re very happy that Bangkok Cuisine finally opened a branch near us. It’s nicely decorated and clean, though we normally carry out. Haven’t tried the Japanese items, so I can’t recommend them, but their Thai food is authentic(we’ve been to Thailand) and tasty. Eat here!

I visited this place for my first time with Thai food and the food was delicious which is why I am not rating this based on the food, but the service. I placed an order for the location I believed would be the Woodward location and when I arrived was rudely informed by a female worker that I had placed my order at the wrong location. I verified the phone number, as the location on Woodward and when I called she hung the phone up quickly as if I would not notice her doing so. I ignored the unprofessional behavior and placed a new order, and when I went to pay the woman charged my card twice for two orders. At this time she quickly apologized and offered to refund the order which would take seven to ten days. Not worth that wait. When my order was done, she turned her head away from me and dropped the bag on the counter and left; no explanation or apologies for the terrible service. The food was quality, but the service left more to be desired.

The tofu fried rice was decent. The portions are big but that I’ve come to expect from most Thai restaurants. The fresh roll was good. With so many great Thai places around — Pi’s Thai cuisine; Bangkok Pavillion; Amarin Thai Cuisine; Thai King and Sala Thai, it’s hard for me to give this place anything better than 3 stars.

I have been to many great Thai restaurants. The taste and quality of food here is A+, along with great staff and style. I highly recommend if you enjoy Thai. I’m on my way now to pick up carry out. Enjoy!

I have ordered noodle dishes from here 3 times, and every time the rice noodles have been tough and underdone. Go to Sy Thai in Birmingham instead.

A fantastic Thai restaurant! I am a huge fan of their bubble tea(specifically Taro) and it is always good! I have only eaten there one time and it was amazing. I ordered the Crab Rangoon as an appetizer… absolutely delicious. For my main meal, I tried the Pad Prik Khing medium hot with chicken. It was fairly spicy but just the perfect amount of spice that was not too overbearing. The green beans were perfectly cooked, the sauce was mouth-watering…all in all, everything tasted great. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a chance even if only to try the bubble tea!
