Just came across the receipt from a family meal 8÷23÷15. We had a great time, the food was great and our server Carrie was excellent! Going back next time I visit.

The best wings you’ll ever eat. Great draft beer selection and the best wait staff around. Always look forward to «happy hour at the Stables».

Stopped for lunch. Onion soup was excellent. Rueben and kettle chips were both way above average. Servers were distracted by some drama unfolding in the very much in plain view kitchen.

Always looking for a neat place to eat while away on business. Found this and thought it would be neat to check out the carriage house ambiance. The inside and the outside look of the restaurant impressed us. Staff was very friendly and asked where we were from and what brought us here. Food was delicious! Great variety:)

Have been here many times. Good atmosphere. Good food and reasonable prices. Owners work the floor some nights. Perch dinner or walleye recommended.

We ate there last Saturday with a group of 14 and a waitress by the name of Carrie was fantastic. Not one thing slipped through the cracks. She was a delight through and through! Everyone enjoyed the meal, especially the people who ordered the stuffed pepper!

It’s got your usual sports bar feel… a couple TV’s, college pennants on the wall for décor, etc. Happy hour is from 4 to 6 with $ 2 beer and ½ off appetizers which seems like a good deal. The food was very good and the service was excellent. I’ve heard that the chocolate peanut butter pie is to die for, but haven’t had the pleasure of trying it yet because the burger and fries I ordered was so huge it left no room for dessert.

Waitstaff had wonderful personalities. It was slow and instead of chatting amongst themselves, they had conversations with the customers. I would go out of my way to visit this establishment again.

This is the Hathaway House’s more casual and less expensive sibling. The food is fantastic and there’s a nice selection of beers and wines, including some local ones by a wine maker who until recently had a tasting room right across the alley(he now has a bigger place in Tecumseh). The staff is friendly and knows their menu well. Great rustic ambiance. Probably most famous for their sweet potato chips.

Delicious fresh ingredients with thoughtful cooking techniques. Spinach salad was bursting with garden goodness. Shared a brisket sandwich and fish tacos both very good. And go for the sweet potato fries. Service was the perfect combination of attentive and invisible. Will definitely return

Ride ‘em cowboy! Ambience 5: It’s a really cool idea for a bar/restaurant. It looks and feels like you are walking into an old stable. They also had pendants of assorted colleges all over the wall. It’s a great concept. I enjoyed looking and talking about all the colleges with my coworkers. Food/Drinks 4: I chose to get the american classic, the hamburger. For me, I find that to be the easiest and most accurate food to judge a bar on. They have a choose your own toppings menu. I got the works, like always. It was a good burger, not great. I’m a bit of a burger snob so I have pretty high standards. I was at a work lunch so I couldn’t drink but they had a pretty good craft beer menu. Service 4: We had mostly good service. Everything was pretty standard until the end. It took at least 15 minutes for her to run our cards for the bill. We had a meeting, so we were in a slight rush at that point. Overall 4: The ambience is great and I liked Blissfields little downtown. If you are ever out that way, which I doubt, you should definitely stop in and enjoy. I would even drive a little out of the way for it.

Tonight was our first night stopping in at The Main Street Stable and we are happy we stopped! We walked in… were greeted by an echo of hello’s!(always a bonus)…we were able to pick a table(an even bigger bonus) and the were immediately brought menus and had our drink order taken. My husband picked the fish and chips(which he was said was delicious, not fishy and not greasy)…he was a happy camper. I had the Chef salad and it was delicious… they seem to have a great wine list and many beers on tap(we did not indulge) but we will be back… the ambiance is amazing and we were pretty damn stoked to see a Michigan Tech pennant on the wall… especially since my husband is a Tech alum! All in all, a great experience :)

You have not felt true bliss unless you have sat at the bar and enjoyed a tall, cold Bell’s from the tap at The Main Street Stable. The food is excellent(Walleye or perch is usually on the menu somewhere.) and the ambiance is warm and cozy. A converted stable! C’mon, whats not to love? Totally recommended.

Good meal! Was in Adrian for business and got recommended to visit Main Street Stable. Went in on a Thursday night around 7:30pm. Place was empty. There was only one table that I saw. Grabbed a seat at the bar. Bartender was friendly and attentive throughout. Food was really good! Started with the Jalapeño and cheddar spread. The pita bread came out extremely warm! The spread was delicious. The serving was huge! I only ate about ¼ of it. Had the pork chop with a peach chipotle gaze with a baked potato and green bean. Everything was cooked really well and tasted fabulous. The only con was the presentation of the main meal. Butter packets for the baked potato just seemed out of place on such a well put together meal. Bartender recommended the blueberry pie and she didn’t let me down. Home made and stuff with tons of blueberries. I would definitely recommend this place and will visit again next time I’m in Adrian.

Everything I have ordered here has been exceptional… everything my husband has ordered here has been sent back for being improperly cooked. I think they are just really hit or miss on entrees. The chocolate bread pudding is amazing. The wait staff is slowed down by how long it takes the kitchen to cook a meal. Only go if you have 2 hours or more for dinner and a lot to talk about.

In Blissfield? Really? Wow. This place is good. We were staying at the Blissfield B&B next door, and we literally walked out the back yard and into this place for drinks and dinner. We sat for a long time, ordered several slow courses, enjoyed some very interesting brews both on draft and in bottles, and were very gratified. We had a calamari appetizer, shared a sea bass special and an arugula salad for the main course, and tried some deep dish blueberry pie for dessert. All were very good. I had a Dark Horse Rod Ale on draft which was said to be brewed with aphrodisiac herbs. I’m not going to comment on the efficacy of those, but the beer was outstanding. My husband tried a couple of interesting bottled Anchor beers, which we also liked a lot. I wish this place had more taps, since someone obviously has terrific taste in beer. I am taking off one star because of our server. She appeared to be about 15 years old and had one of the loudest and most grating speaking voices I have ever heard. We asked her a question about one of the tap beers and she said that it sounded disgusting so she had never tried it. My husband said, «You’re really selling that, aren’t you?» LOL. She was quick, and she never made a mistake, to her credit. She also caught on that we were settling in for a long meal and she was very nice about that. All in all — I really recommend this place, as well as the Blissfield B&B, which I have also reviewed.

Took my wife and kids on a Saturday night. Good crowd but we could sit quickly and the staff was fantastic. They have plenty of people and they all seem to be busy but not crazed. We were greeted warmly and the kids loved the visuals, all the college pennants, you can play«I spy» forever. Quality American food. I went with a recco by the server for some fish and sides she suggested. All were great. My girls loved the fresh bread, and applesauce to start. The food came out promptly and everything was great. They have a good beer selection, far better than what I would think is available in little Blissfield. The cost is above average but if you have an experience like ours, you won’t feel short changed. Go with friends, go with family. Enjoy!

First visit; from IN. Service this Sat eve was very slow & server made several mistakes, some of omission like not bringing what was asked for. A little pricy for the quality. Doubtful I’ll try it again since there is a much better restaurant on the same site(Hathaway House).
