Near the intersection of Rt. 22 and Rt. 67 in Eagle Bridge NY sits a farm that has been producing fresh fruit and veggies for generations. This place is very much worth a visit for some of the nicest produce and people! My favorite is the muskmelon. Prepare to be spoiled for life. I’ve purchased six melons this season and they’ve all been huge, full of juice and so sweet you don’t need any ice cream in the middle. I’m addicted and have been making weekly visits. I also bought a bushel of green bell peppers to put up. Excellent value. They typically have a variety of vegetables and you can pick your own veggies depending on what’s ready. Think tomatoes or pumpkins! They carry baked goods like fruit pie and quick bread. They’re open from May to October. I would reccomend you call before you make the drive to confirm hours and what kinds of things are available that day. Their website is also quite helpful. After this discovery I’m going to go through withdrawl until spring!
