Buy-Rite sells discounted groceries that include dented cans, boxed goods with crushed corners, close to or slightly past expiration date, label changes, overstock and shelf pulls of new merchandise. About 5 years ago, one of my employees introduced me to Buy-rite as a cheap source of cleaning products, soaps, towels, toilet paper, etc. We still purchase our shop supplies from But-Rite. As of late, BRL has been trying to slowly morph into a neighborhood supermarket. Business-wise this makes sense because there are no other food markets within an 8 mile radius. But as a result, prices have gone up significantly and are in line or slightly higher for the same items at Wal-Mart. So you might end up paying almost full price for a dented box of Raisin Bran. You can find some deals at BRL. I have found that most prices are 20−40% off retail. My advice is to know the prices of the items at Wal-Mart, Giant, CVS before you purchase at Buy-Rite.
