I haven’t tasted a Woods Coffee, but I’ve seen more of them in Northern Washington. This one wasn’t from the border. Tons of parking in this area. Decent sized area and nice comfortable feel to the theme. I went with their blended drink«Avalanche» which was like a frappé, but had coconut in it. Delicious. Friendly staff. price is comparable to other coffee shops. Service was fast. Comfortable place with clean bathrooms. Outside seating has even a fireplace.

Always a fan! Whenever I am going to the US, I always have to stop at Woods Coffee. Great staff, great coffee, and a cute little café. Although it may be a little more expensive than your typical Starbucks, their pastries are delicious, they have tons of cute snacks to go along with your morning coffee, and their drinks in my opinion speak for themselves! It’s definitely a treat!

Great coffee, great service, lovely ambience. I’m a big fan. Wasn’t expecting to have such a good experience at a café in the middle of the Birch Bay shopping mall. The latte was perfect, and the savory twist I had was delicious, freshly baked, and tasted healthy with the 60% whole wheat flour. It’s popular with the locals. I was surprised to see so many people working on laptops so early in the morning there.

Big fan of The Woods Coffee. Their cold brew is my summer staple drink… I get it straight and just top with milk… also got a growler so that we could refill and enjoy it at home :). Many locations in the Bellingham area, it’s a Washington gem.

The Woods Coffee has some of the best coffee in the Pacific Northwest. The toast is outstanding and the truly handcrafted espresso drinks are awesome. Stop in for coffee and a scone. You won’t regret it.

Their mocha frapp has the strong plastic aftertaste of sucralose and /or aspartame. I didn’t ask for fake gross sugar in my drink, so I’d avoid it.

Really cute décor and great atmosphere. Baristas were very nice and greeted us immediately when we walked in the door. I ordered a caffe americano which has a lot of flavor and a vanilla peach scone… Delicious. I would definitely come back.

I always have to stop at the Woods anytime I’m north of Seattle. It’s a rarity to be able to enjoy beans that are bitter and gross. No offense to all you Starbucks-a-holics, but that stuff is not real coffee. They have a point system similar to Starbucks and their gift cards. My dirty chair was delicious and if you haven’t tried this coffee before, you’re overdue.

Great little coffee shop. Stopped here while I was doing some shopping in the states. They have yummy food and the drink they made was super good as well. It’s very cute and quaint :) I think it has a relaxing atmosphere and the baristas were super friendly.

Nice little coffee shop in the middle of a shopping plaza just off of I-5. I stopped here on the way back home after visiting Canada for a short while. Their coffee is great and service was cheerful and quick. The café space was nice and open with a NW theme to it. Didn’t feel crowded at all. If I really had to nit pick at something, it would be that they name their sizes after trees… cute but not really needed in my opinion. Definitely would stop by again if I’m in the area!

Forgive me father for I have sinned… Starbucks, I am a devout and very loyal patron. Years upon years of loyalty – despite the bitter taste that has become a rather constant. The baristas and their tacky way of spelling names. The always festive and adored red cups. For having limited options in the area, and seeing multiple Woods establishments throughout Whatcom, all the while putting aside and handful of reasons to boycott due to political issues… when you’ve got a hankering for coffee and going through withdrawal, anything will do. Anything. God will forgive this visit. For those that are in a rush, there is a drive-thru service. Those looking to read the papers and slowly sip a morning brew there is a sit-down area inside. I opted for the drive-thru for convenience. Coffee convenience. Ordering: While it’s very cutesy to have names for each of the sizes, the actual liquid amounts are not listed. I had to guesstimate and then ask for a little assistance on which is equivalent to a Tall, and in that guesstimate I wound up with a Cedar(Grande – 2shots). Prices: Insert wide eyes. No bells or whistles, a grande simple coffee with two shots of espresso was nearly $ 5. Taste: Meh, for a coffee that is that price it should be like rocket fuel and be strong. Instead it’s watered down. Slightly saddened because there were high hopes for this. Service: Friendly baristas that helped this girl try and figure out how to order blindly. Woods, your presence in the area was definitely taunting and I’m okay with trying you out to say that I did. If in a pinch, they’re there and have a huge menu to order off of.

I get coffee at this place every morning! Sorry Starbucks — you just can’t compete with the fantastic waitstaff! If I don’t get my coffee here every morning — I will have a crappy day! Can I give you 6 stars… weird huh? Good Coffee!

Decent and convenient coffee if you’re traveling up I5 between Seattle and Vancouver. Slightly better than Starbucks quality, I’d say. Clean bathrooms. The parking lot seems like NOT a place I’d leave my car for too long, though — I saw multiple spots with smashed glass all over the parking lot when I was there recently. Yikes!

Great staff and yummy treats! I came here twice during my visit to the area and had a pleasant experience both times. They have tasty breakfast sandwiches and baked goods — I had the bacon egg and cheese sandwich and the savory twist(highly recommend it!) The staff was very nice and friendly. I wish we had one of these by my house!
