Great food and very nice employees. First time here as we just moved from out of state. We will definitely eat here again.

The closed location the other reviews are talking about was on the East side of 65 just a few blocks north of here. That whole area has been redeveloped with the overpass going in that’s why they made this Taco John’s location. This one is brand new in a small strip mall south of 242 on the West side of 65. Just had lunch there, had the daily special which was the Meat and Potato burrito for 2 bucks. How can you beat that? Clean dining room, friendly staff. The lady taking orders went out of her way to help an elderly couple order. They were having trouble deciding on what they wanted and she helped explain the different ingredient in the menu items. I thought it was a nice change from what I usually witness in fast food.

Every once in a while, I crave the taste of something that brings me back to my old hometown and the flavor that was known as «TJ’s». See, I didn’t grow up in a town with a Toxic Hell(aka Taco Bell), but our taco cravings were more than satisfied with the potato olé goodness that was Taco Johns. So evey now and then, I drive by the TJ’s in Blaine and I hear a super burrito calling my name. This location is the best one I’ve ever been to(way better than their old location a couple blocks North). They are always fast and have never gotten my complicated orders wrong. Once when I went thru the drive thru, I had my beagle in the back seat… the guy at the window asked me if she could have a treat and handed her 2 milkbones through the open window – it made her day, and mine. I thought that sort of thing only happened at banks these days.
