The food is always good and the cooking area is very clean. The man who runs this place is very nice. The only downside is there is no where to eat at the place.

Some of the best Chinese around. This place is very small and not too appealing looking. The general tso chicken and shrimp are both amazing. The boneless pork and teriyaki chicken on a stick are very good. The spring rolls and fantail shrimp are great little sides along with the crab ragoons. The food is always very hot and the service is great and friendly. Whenever I’m sick I get the chicken noodle soup and it’s absolutely delicious and usually makes me feel much better. If you get the spring rolls or egg rolls I highly recommend getting a container of their duck sauce (not the little packets).

I had take-​out from Hunan Place Christmas Eve and had the best ever steamed dumplings (aka Peking Ravioli). They were very tasty and steaming hot. All the food we had was delicious and savored. I did not go to pick up so I can’t comment on the atmosphere but have to recommend it for the quality and flavor of the food we received. It’s worth the drive.

I had a hard time finding this place on my GPS and was pretty surprised to walk in and see literally NO real restaurant in existence. It looked like a tiny run down place of business in a foreign country with one crappy table and two chairs. It’s clearly for pickup only. I will say that fortunately we ordered for pickup and therefore had no expectations of a sit down dining experience (PHEW). Since this is the only Chinese place in the area, we were a little nervous that it would be terrible but the food was actually quite delicious — less greasy than the average Chinese order too. Will definitely order from here again but will avoid dining in for sure.

Never been to the actual restaurant, but we’ve ordered takeout from Hunan Place at least a dozen times since moving here four months ago. Every time, our order has been 100% correct, piping hot and absolutely delicious. Anytime we’ve had special requests — szechuan bean curd EXTRA spicy or shrimp lo mein without veggies — they’ve been absolutely accomodating. The food is fresh and tasty and at my door in 30 minutes at MOST from when we order. Also very convenient that they will let you pay over the phone with a credit card. Can’t say enough about this place — delicious, fast and friendly, and I highly recommend it.
