Brisket was thick cut, smokey and moist just the way it should be. Ribs were flavorful and finger lick’n good. Potato salad and beans were tasty as well. Just a great roadside small BBQ place. Oh, don’t skip the homemade pecan pie, it was yummy.

We came with a group of 20 for dinner — they took each order and began serving meals within 5 minutes. All 20 people were served quickly and correctly. Our waitress was attentive and the owner checked several times to make sure we were happy with our meal. The food was fabulous! My pulled pork platter had a very generous portion and came with two sides. The brisket and pulled pork plates were by far the favorites among our group. There were four barbecue sauces to choose from — sweet, vinegar, mayo or mustard based sauces. Our favorite was to combine the mayo with sweet. The pricing was excellent — around $ 10 per person for a plate and drink or $ 4 per kids meal. This is the kind of food you long to have again and again!

Had the brisket Philly it was a good(smallish) sandwich, would have enjoyed larger portion. I am a big dude, who had to order a pulled pork to augment my lunch. The sides mac & cheese, potato salad and slaw were good with healthy portions, just wish I had gotten more of that prize-winning bbq, which was yummy. If you are a college football fan(which in that part GA you have to be) this is the spot for you.

Pork, ribs and chicken were great. Best baked beans I’ve eaten. Fast service will be back.
