The fried dumplings are good. The cold noodles are more suitable for summer and the sauce was on the sweet side. But I feel I was overcharged $ 19.49 for a small box of dumplings, 2 cold noodles $ 8 and one veggie bun $ 1.5. So he charged me $ 10 for the dumplings? Ridiculous!

Wish there were warm noodles, cold just isn’t my taste I guess. Also, I thought the sauces were too sweet. Otherwise this place is a great spot for a quick and simple meal on a student budget.

Great food! Can’t beat it for the price and friendly service. Although I just started reviewing this is the place that I would reviewed beginning.

Usually a solid bet, they have great dumplings and noodles. When we came in on a January ight before classes started the open sign was on and the hours started they were open for two more hours. We ordered some dumplings, peanut noodles, and soup. No soup, they didn’t make any. We asked for cups for water and the guy told us they were closing and we couldn’t eat there… No explanation of why we couldn’t have water, just that they were closing, now. One person who came in after us was served but then, with the open sign still glowing, others were turned away. I totally understand and sympathize with businesses changing their schedule to coincide with the University break, but it seems rude to arbitrarily do it on the fly. Maybe the food was tainted by our precipitation of the servers attitude, but everything tasted off.(Also, have the peanut noodles always been spaghetti??) I’ll go again, but another night like that would be my last.

Walked in and saw a very very small menu and got a little concerned, but don’t let that alter your decision. Easily the best fried dumplings I’ve ever had and their Marco Luca soy sauce is amazing. Definitely coming here again.

Giving it 5 stars because the fried dumplings and hot & sour soup are some of the best I’ve ever had. I wasn’t a huge fan of the cold noodles but I think that was more of a personal preference. I like my food hot. The steamed bun is different and worth a try but get some dumplings and soup and you’ll be very very happy. Super cheap too. A great lunch spot! I just wish they had some kinda of hot noodle dish like a veggie lo mein to go with the dumplings.

Best dumplings I have EVER had, and I love dumplings. We went by there just as he had locked the door to close but he let us in before he closed up. And I am so glad he did, the dumplings were crispy fried and in the most amazing soy sauce. I will definitely make this a routine stop whenever I visit Tech.

Pretty much the best dumplings ever. My daily lunch spot basically. Its super cheap(Used to be cheaper though, they shadow raise the price twice a couple years back but it’s still a great deal). You pretty much can’t go wrong with anything on that menu, my favorite is the dumpling and soup combo. Pretty much the perfect lunch… or snack. I’ll miss this place when I leave Blacksburg

The price point of this place is really the main attraction. The food itself is a hit or miss depending on what you order. Overall it’s okay. I recommend it for a quick bite and if you’re up for something new.

Basic, cheap. $ 9 for dumplings, pork bun, and soup. I liked the soup more than the food items, to be honest. The sauce on the food was plentiful, so much so that it leaked from the crappy take out containers. I was given about 25 napkins so somewhere a tree is crying.

The dumplings here tastes funny to me, especially the source, too sweet and too much soy sauce for a dipping source. The portion is pretty small to me.

Good, not amazing but hella cheap! There is something to be said for finding quick chow on a college campus. A place with a very limited menu can pan out one of two ways. One, be a hole in the wall and serve a menu one can count on one hand because they’ve perfected all of it, OR, two, be a hole in the wall out of choice with so-so dishes taking advantage of circumstance. I think this place is maybe more the second, AND perhaps journeying toward the first. I wanted to «literally»(think Chris from Parks and Rec) stumble into an awesome dumpling shop hidden from everyone but the privy and gustatory collegiate elite at VT, but did not. The place has a great wall of soda in front of their counter. The service is quick and stern. Atmosphere inside takes advantage of whatever business was there before and adds some Chinese(??) décor like painted scrawls, wooden gates and oversized red paper lanterns. The dumplings are on the smaller side, come fried, and swimming in the special house sauce. I like for the dumpling to be a little more bready, but these were pretty good. The steamed pork bun wasn’t as fluffy as I’m used to, but still pretty good. Sweet and sour soup had seaweed, tofu, egg drop in it. I didn’t care too much for it. The cold noodles in sesame and peanut sauce were nice. Sauce was a little sweet and noodle serving very generous. Overall, I docked the stars because the atmosphere was lacking, and the dishes offered, though inexpensive, were not incredible. Given that the atmosphere doesn’t give me a reason to hang out, and 4⁄4 items I ordered were just ok, I don’t have much reason to come back.

Cold noodles, hot dumplings… I’m game! Not sure what type of Asian food it is, but it’s tasty! I’d come back. The name sounds Italian, but it’s definitely Asian.

Great food that is ready very fast. I had: Fried dumplings — you get 6 and they were perfectly crispy Sweet and sour spicy noodle — dish is served cold but is good Port hot bun — comes out really really hot but is satisfying and filling

Despite a very limited menu, the food they have is great, especially the dumplings they’re known for which are served with a sweet soy sauce. But it’s mainly dumplings, noodles, and pork buns here. A more extensive menu would be nice but certainly they know what they’re doing nonetheless. Good location near campus too.

A small location with a limited menu. The dumplings were good but a bit on the greasy side. Maybe I would have had better luck if I didn’t arrive right before closing. The service was sweet and quick. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I am willing to return and try something else on their menu. Recommended!

It pains me to say it, but it just might be possible that some of the best dumplings I’ve ever tasted were in Blacksburg of all places, at least for the price($ 3.50). They were really outstanding and were paired with some sort of soy sauce, but calling it soy sauce would slander how delicious the sauce really is. Yum. I also tried the Sweet & Sour Spicy Noodles, which come with apple, soy sauce, hot sauce, cilantro, green onions and sesame seeds. The noodles come cold so they feel more like a salad, but are worth trying. Unique and flavorful. If I had less regard for my health, I would just go for two, well three, orders of the fried dumplings.

The menu is pretty limited, but what they have is done pretty well. It’s also worth it for the amount you pay. For under $ 20 we got two serves of dumplings, two buns, a thing of noodles and a soup, and that was enough to adequately feed two people without being super stuffed. The buns were okay but not great. They came with sauce on the bottom which made the bread a bit soggy. Noodles were good(we got the spicy ones with apple) and even though they’re cold noodles, the spicy sauce was a good belly-warmer. The dumplings were tasty – I’d probably just get these and the noodles next time and forgo the buns.
