Old Depot Arts & Crafts Center

My group and I had decided to make one last stop in the lovely town of Black Mountain and we decided that we would stop at The Old Depot. Upon walking in we thought that we had been taken back to what a store was like before the time of Walmart. There were two parts to the store. Half of the store was dedicated to tools and hardware items. The other half of the store was dedicated to tourist shopping items. My favorite find in the store was old time pop in glass bottles. There were shelves full of bottled pop of many different flavors. I would come back just for the pop selection. The workers in the store were very helpful. We even were given the opportunity to talk with the owner. She welcomed us with a warm smile. She answered all of our questions and advised us of other places to visit. She invited us to return at any time and I will.
