Thrifty White Drug

I have used this pharmacy many times as well a shopped through the many unique items they also offer at this location. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to your needs and often greet customers by first name. I think that alone makes this place extra special that they take the time to get to know who you are and remember your name. Such a feat to do that since I always see them pretty busy. They offer a pretty good selection of grocery items that include frozen and refrigerated items. Great for those downtown that don’t have transportation to the larger groceries. They sell scrubs for those working in the healthcare industry. They offer a unique selection of gifts for all occasions, you can always find something for that special gift giving time. They offer photo printing services but they have to send them out for that, so not good if you want your pics immediately, but still a good option. In the back of the store they have a full service eatery (The White House Cafeteria) they offer daily specials as well as many breakfast and lunch items to eat. If you are looking for good comfort food or soup and a sandwich, they definitely have that covered. Great coffee too. You can park on the street outside or park in the garage above. The garage has elevator service to the parking levels and if you are shopping at Thrifty White or visiting the clinic, you can ask them for a parking pass and you can park in the garage for free! Great local business that has their customers needs in mind and they treat you like family.

Closest thing to a grocery store downtown. Alot of people come for the Café, or go during a check-​up at the Family Practice Center. I believe with some certain additions (more grocery, less «filling stuff») they would be a one-​stop-​shop for downtowners. Always moderately busy, and you find unique trinkets down here. ¹⁰⁄₁₀
