Ugh. Luke warm food. Very few veggies even on the salad bar. Two women in the bathroom didn’t wash their hands before going back to their tables, which prompted me to stop eating.

Yuck, After the meat Carver guy handled raw meat and then immediately handling buns/bread and placing them on buffet for people to eat without changing out gloves. Never again.

This place has seen it’s highs and lows ever since opening. When it first opened up, the quality of both the food and service was spot-on, but 6 – 8 months after opening, the quality oif both dropped off significantly. The original owner ended up selling the restaurant back to the corporation, and, once again, the quality and service were brought up to excellent quality standards. But since then, things have taken a toll for the worse… My significant other and I decided to eat their last night, and in a nutshell, we will never, ever go back again. Not only was the quality and selection of the food off, most of the staff seemed like it was a huge bother to refill even the most basic of items(silverware, salads, breads, etc.). While I usually expect the place to be packed during dinner(we were there at around 6:30), the place was not overcrowded, so I can only chalk it up to not having enough staff on hand to handle the usual weekend dinner rush. While most of the food that we could eat was OK, having a good 25% of the buffet line items sitting empty was not the best. My worst issue was with the dessert station, where 3 unattended children were using the same skewer to stick pretty much anything they could and thrust it under the Chocolate Wonderfall. I ended up getting ice cream, simply because I knew that no one else could have possibly touched it. My SO went up and asked for a piece of red Velvet cake, and the baker came out with one and told her she got the last piece. When she went to put it in her mouth, she noticed that the cream-cheese frosting had gone sour, meaning either the cake itself or the frosting had spoiled. Unless they manage to get their staffing issues and training in line, help control their unrully patrons, I can see this place closing quickly. We for one will never be back.

I’ve been golden corral in bismarck around 8 times first 2 times was really good 3rd time waited on food to come out long peroids of time but besides that it was ok then so so the next few times bcuz waiting on food n drinks but I have always left 10 doller tip one time server was pregnet so left 20 jus went yesterday with a friend for dinner bcuz we was out shoppin n started of normal got r plates set down ate put our plates on side of table to b picked up n watched the server take excalent care the table of 5 right bside us keepin them in drinks removeing plates so here our plates set still so I’m lik ok shell get to us see her pass us up 4 to 5 more times still we have no drinks this continued the whole time I was eating plates still on table the tables she was waiting on so hard n takeing good care of was all very well dressed rich lookin ppl n I was in jean shorts tshirt n flip flops n lil did this server no u should never judge a book by its cover bcuz I not only always leave 10 or more tip my husband owns his own bissnass so there for I was treated diffrent bcuz I looked lik I may have not been as well off as the ppl that was beside me wow I spend my money at this bissness a few times a month but bcuz ppl she assumed was better off then she thought I was she disregarded me completely bcuz I was dressed as well wow really that’s fine tho bcuz I didn’t leav nothing n she could of had a ten or more tip golden corral should really tell ther staff everybody eho pays to eat here should b treated the same n not make judgement on how ppl look or thay r dressed if we r there eating we pay the same as erybody eles not treated lik trash n never helped at all but we payed jus the same how sad for u bcuz to tell u the truth my poor lookin party of 2 prolly would of left u a bigger tip then that big part of five u busted ur rump on n prolly got tiped 5 dollers just saying tho il take my money a few times a month to a place were ppl get treated with equal respect n not ignored bcuz thay dnt look rich enough!!! Heres a tip for you don’t judge a book by its cover$$$$$$$$

Excellent value. When there in steak night off the hook. Steak was great, salad was great and the usual buffet food was solid as well. Best buffet chain period. My wife was even impressed, trust me that’s quit a feat.

The manager, top cook, our waitress and other staff went above and beyond in serving our family. We have multiple and severe food allergies, which makes buffet eating risky. The chef was experienced and quick in ascertaining what my kids could eat. He made their dishes separately, taking care to avoid cross-contamination. I could tell he understood the allergies and was proficient and kind in accommodating special requests.(Even though he was pretty busy) Some food service professionals are stressed out by the food allergies, but he took it in stride– really competent. The general manager, Ed Howard, was also supportive. He explained the issue to staff, introducing us to key staff manning the main food area and the dessert area. Generally, we avoid buffets because of the risks, but were there for our family reunion. The safety protocols and service were exceptional. The food was fine, lots of variety and quantity. The quality was average, probably above average for the niche of buffets. If you like buffets and service is important to you, you will be happy here.

Reasonable price, but all of the food is average at best. Biggest issue is the cleanliness, the floor was disgustingly dirty, the other customers were dirty, total yuck. Not sure how this passed inspection.

I do have a place in my heart for Golden Corral because the food is always super yummy — and the service hasn’t been half bad either. Their salad bar is pretty awesome and they have lots of different kinds of lettuces and vegetables. I love a big salad YUM! They also have a wide range of other randoms and a crazy long dessert bar. The price is about normal for a buffet — unfortunately, I can’t eat what I pay for so it seems spendy to me. My favorite is the look of the place — it’s super pretty in there and the layout rocks!

Golden Corral is one of a kind. I love it on how they serve their food. It is very nice. The waiters and crews are very friendly. Everything on their menu are so great. the food are well-cooked and delicious. Specially their spaghetti, salads and pizza. To sum it all up, i gave them 5 stars!
